Hello Hello! How is it Thursday already? I am having one of those weeks where the days are extremely long, but the week is flying by, so that's good, I guess!

My new job is going really well, but I feel like I am drinking from a fire hose. There is a lot to do that has been on hold since my job has been vacant for 6 months, which is not good for HR, lol... I could work 24 hours a day and not make a dent, so I am trying to figure out what is urgent, and what can wait, but right now it all feels urgent!

QOTD: Tell us about your favorite winter coat. I have way too many winter coats because I am always freeeeeezing. But my most recent addition to my winter coat collection is a long Kelly Green wool coat. It is a little big on me and I think it might be swallowing me up a little but it is so warm and comfy that I don't think I care. I also really love the bright color :)

Food was good yesterday and I got in lots of steps running around the 3 campuses. I think it was the first day that I got 10K steps just living my day, without exercise.

Good mornin everyone! It's Friday Eve!

I think the pharmacy thing is worked out...crossing my fingers & knocking on wood! LOL. I tried the extra half a pill last night and I got about an hour tacked on to the usual so it's better than nothing. The only bad side of that is when I got up around 3 I walked into the bathroom and fell into a wall, knocking off a picture and waking up my mom. I'm ok, it wasn't a bad fall or anything. Just lost my balance and the wall kept me from falling to the ground or on the sink. My shoulder is a bit sore but that's it. My legs are hurting very much though...not from the "fall" but just the regular crap.

No big plans for the day. I need to mail some things but I'm waiting for tomorrow. I'm hoping to stay home today. We've started double masking when we go out but I still don't feel safe. My mom goes stir crazy so so easily. Me...I'm more of a homebody. I got some jump rings I'd like to make a necklace with so I'll likely work on that today. I finished an order for a dragon necklace...one of the things I need to mail tomorrow. I also got some charms that I can't wait to make a bracelet with! I just have to pace myself as sitting is absolute misery for long periods.

QOTD: I usually wear a sweater or a puff jacket if it's really cold. The sweater is just a grey longer length one and the puff jacket is a dark teal.

B: JUST egg, crack an egg, banana and coffee

L: going to make a lentil soup in the instant pot

D: same as lunch

S: ???

Good morning everyone and yay Jr Friday! Oh, I have so many meetings today, so many but it's the last back to back all day plus meeting day this week; tomorrow is lighter and then we have monday off, yay!

QOTD - I definitely have gone overboard on coats post WLS -- moving from AZ back to CO made me need a lot of coats and having options vs having to get the one that fit also contributed. My newest one is a dark purple shell with a super soft faux-fur in light mauve. I suspect it has the same "eating me" shape you mention about your green one but I do not care.

I have one meeting before I head to my morning pilates class, I needed to squeeze it in and I do email before I head out anyway but 530 is early to be on zoom.

Menu today is in no particular order

coffee plus half and half X 3 (ok, this is always first)

the left over Thai basil chicken I didn't have yesterday

chicken and cheese meatballs (I found these at target and I am hoping they taste like the ones I used to get at Alamo Drafthouse)

yogurt

cheese stick

Have a terrific Thursday everyone!

we've done a lot of remodeling - it can be so stressful because there are SO MANY DECISIONS to make - more than you ever dreamed (cabinet pulls, type of faucet, etc) - plus then you have to live with a torn-up house for weeks - but the payoff is so worth it! This will be exciting!!

I love and hate kitchen remodels. Take tons of before and during pics. Also double the amount of the time they tell you it will take. They told us 4.5 months and it took 9 months...without a kitchen with two kids under 10.

9 months?!? We are being told 3-4 weeks but with supply chain issues I know to expect more but who knows.

It may be a snail race between Kelly's kitchen and Marilyn's Bronco.
