Morning! Gotta make this super quick because I slept "late" ****il 5am)!. The board meeting ran very late and I had to drive home in a freezing car after 9pm and it took me hours to warm up enough to fall asleep, so I am pretty exhausted today!

QOTD: Would you rather redo your first day of college or your first day of your first professional job? My first day of college was terrible. I had a hideous roommate and I wish I had stood up for myself from the start. It was a miserable year until I transferred!

Uhhh, I have no full food plan for today. I thought I would have time to cook up a nice lunch this morning, but I don't, because I need to get in the shower and walk out the door in 45 minutes. I know I have some yogurt, and I will probably grab a can of tuna to bring with me?? Tonight I am making a tortellini salad with brussels sprouts and prosciutto!

Good Morning!

QOTD: first day of work.. I would have been less nice as the girls there were rude, judgemental and very click-y from day one. Should have put them in place from the get go. Oh well - you live and you learn.

b: fairlife latte, egg whites, salsa, cheddar and avocado

s: yogurt, protein powder, blueberries

l: mexi-cauli rice, ground beef, cheddar, peppers and onions, salsa

s: tbd

d: caprese chicken, broccoli

Good morning and welcome to Wednesday! I have a busy day of listening only meetings, well 3 straight hours of participatory meetings, then 6 hours of listen only meetings. It has crossed my mind that I could do my rower session during the listen only options but I probably won't and will do it after work.

QJB - sounds like that remote start is looking more necessary vs splurge every day!

QOTD - neither resonates with me as needing to be redone and I'm not a fan of the idea of going back to my teens or 20s.

It's Wednesday so I have another of the fast and fit French Polynesia series to do, plus my shoulder PT.

Menu

coffee plus half and half X3

breakfast sausage

left over basil chicken from the Thai place

chili or falafel

Really need to focus on hydration today, I've been off my 100oz a few days and I'm feeling it.

Have a great day everyone

At the very beginning of COVID, back when we were having meetings every day about working from home, i dropped a barbell during a meeting and didn't realize that I hadn't muted.

I was in a meeting last week and noticed the really nice shirt one guy was wearing. But he had to get up to do something and we all saw his pajama bottoms. I bet you are careful with that mute button after your experience.

I try to, but then the opposite happens: "Jim, you're on mute." I dropped out of that meeting quickly because it took most people half a day to figure out how to work from home, but we had constant meetings about it for weeks.

LOL! I remember seeing a video of some reporter reporting from his home. I believe he had a shirt and jacket on - but at one point, you could see that he wasn't wearing pants!

Good mornin everyone!

Yesterday was pretty stressful. After all the hoopla with my pain management clinic I had to wait on hold for 22 minutes to find out they sent the damn prescription to the wrong pharmacy. I'm so over their ****let's hope they get it right this time.

It was also a very pain filled day. My legs hurt badly...the worst in a long while. Surely in part to the stress.

Covid numbers are bad here. 1200 new cases in the past 2 days.the city is supposed to hold a press conference regarding it all this mornin or afternoon. We went to get a good supply of groceries and we'll be home as much as we can. I have a lot of appointments this month.

QOTD: not particularly applicable to me

food is unplanned for the most part.

B: GF toast, just egg, cheese, taco sauce and sour cream...oh and coffee

Good morning all!

I hit the road yesterday to take a quick trip to Rockford. An ailing friend was in need of company and it was nice to get out of dodge and see her. Couldn't sleep last night so I caught up on Boba Fett this morning. All I can say is, Damn.

QOTD: I would redo not only my first day but my first year of college. I spent way too much time without a proper school / work / play balance.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut, Tangerine.

L: 3oz. Vienna Corned Beef.

D: Chicken Salad.

S: Carrots with Greek yogurt spinach artichoke dip.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

I had to go back and watch the Star Wars movies to figure out who he is. He made no impression on me in the movies, but now I get who he is and I've already watched the first 2 episodes, I wish they wouldn't string them out one a week.
