What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Hello and Blated happy New Year,
Well the holiday season is over so it is time to refocus my efforts to continue my weightloss journey. I feel that I have loosened my grip on my eating a bit. Sometimes the all or nothing mentality can sabotage my efforts. I need to work on this aspect of myself.
It has been cold and snowy here in the Inland Northwest. Ski season has started for my family. Last year I didn't go at all since I was so heavy (at my highest weight) plus out of shape and downhill skiing can be taxing. We went on Sunday and I did really well. I was only slightly worried that I would get muscle fatigue since you are in a slight bent knee position. We usually go once per week during the season. I love physical activities that are fun "exercise" instead of the usual treadmill exercises.
I have been telling myslef that I needed to re-start my weightlifting routine but haven't really been feeling it. I decided to give resistance bands a try and really like them. I have started a short (15 min) resistance band routine (I found some on Youtube to follow) in addition to my usual treadmill and yoga routine.
