Have a great day QJB. This is a new chance to have a job you love and I am sure that it will work out wonderful for you.

Pre-COVID, all of my exercise was either water aerobics or a senior citizen workout center at the mall. Both were fun and social events. We called the senior center our playground and we went there to play. We had a T-shirt color for each day or the week. I remember that Monday was purple, and Wednesday was safety green.

We ordered the T-shirts with sayings on them. Then we found color coordinated workout pants, socks, and shoes. I always went to the mall about 40 minutes ahead of time and did part of my walking in stores shopping for great outfits to wear. Some of that stuff is pretty expensive, so it was fun to look for bargains.

I had a great collection of swimsuits, water shoes, and matching towels, and a locker full of body wash and hair products, along with a blow dryer and curling iron. One pool had a steam room which was wonderful in icy cold Ohio weather. When I worked, I always scheduled my exercise for after work. Usually a 5:30 PM class.

For a few years after retirement, my exercise was mostly going line-dancing. There were various places with lessons during the day, and then a group would go to a dance in the evening. I was out line-dancing at least four times a week and it was so much fun. The great thing is not needing a partner and there are always new dances to learn. When I went back to work, I could not handle both and stopped the line-dancing.

Exercise has to be fun for me. The i-Fit program gives me beautiful scenery and interesting facts about different parts of the world. I just finished a couch to 4k series that was filmed in Iceland. I am now working on a series from French Polynesia. I do that whenever it is convenient, and it takes away from the boredom of being so isolated.

It is definitely going on my post-pandemic bucket list. The water is crystal clear and the mountains are beautiful.

Good morning, everybody!

I did 600 jumping jacks on Friday and now my calves are screaming.

Mostly they are screaming "Do CAMAW with Amy you chubby *******"

The holiday season was a lot of fun, but now it is time to crack down, at least in terms of diet. In terms of work, I intend to transition rather slowly. And by slowly, I mean watching a repeat of the Fiesta Bowl at 11:15. Financially, I'm not saying that I spent more than a months's car payment on crustaceans this holiday season, but I guess I'm not not saying it either. There were some mollusks as well.

Did anyone watch the Sugar Bowl on Saturday night? Sic Em,Bears!! We wouldn't have been on TV because we were way up in the 600 section. DD sat with her friends in the 100's for a portion of the night, but I don't know if they got on TV.

I will report on New Orleans tomorrow.

QOTD: I try and go to Crossfit on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The times for that vary depending upon my work schedule, but I like mid afternoon if possible. I lift with my coach on Wednesday and Monday around dinner time. I try to do one more day of lifting as well.

Breakfast: omlette

Lunch: leftover lobster

Dinner: TBD but CAMAW

Have a great day, all!
