Good morning ~ Hello 2022! We didn't make it to 9pm here or EST New Years. I slept like a happy baby though, full of carbs and wine.

Today is a new day and I'm excited. I'm all stocked up on every protein I could possibly want or need. Rob is putting together his Traeger today and will smoke Tri-tip for dinner and maybe some other things also. I'm looking so forward to that. We are taking the dogs to the park in a little bit then I'm hiking on the treadmill. I'll be putting away Christmas and staying busy around the house - there is plenty to do. I'm feeling so optimistic and so prepared!

CAMAW for as long as possible

Good morning everyone! I woke up feeling optimistic and happy! I even slept in until 4 am! LOL

I am keeping my carbs as low as possible and keeping it simple. Also, going to get back to tracking everything. It's what I did when I was successful. I know the first few days are going to be hard, but I need to do this!

QOTD- Conspiracy theories, Covid idiots, and Trumps cult followers.

Food plan for the day-

2 oz 93/7 burger, 2 med eggs, 1/2 oz light taco blend cheese, siracha

I can kirkland tuna, dill pickles, light mayo

baked halibut, broccoli

elliptical, abs, and arm workout

Lots of water, vitamins always and hot tea. It's currently 14 degrees at my house, not a fan.

Have a great day everyone and Happy New Year.

I want to with everyone a healthy and happy 2022!

QOTD - given I was watching people fight about climate change in the comments thread while the state was updating us on the status of the wildfires and evacuations yesterday, I'm going to go with climate change deniers. According to these morons the fact that we had less than 2 inches of moisture from June to December had NOTHING to do with the grass being so dry that it caught so fast.

I was tucked in bed by 10, up reading from 2 to 330 and then I went back to sleep until a bit after 7. It was nice and cozy; I've shoveled the snow in the 4 degree weather, made bacon, started my chicken green chili in the crockpot; I"m going to finish my third coffee and change into day pajamas and enjoy an unexpected snowy day at home.

Have a wonderful start to 2022 everyone!

Good morning! I hope you all have a wonderful and happy 2022. Bring it on.

40 years ago today, I became a Mom. Best job ever for me. A good fit. Happy birthday to my Ryan.

I did not do great last night in terms of calories but here I am with a fresh new day ahead of me and choices to make it good. I'm going to try! Our only plans today are grocery shopping. Because there is no food in the fridge. Except cheese. Lots and lots of cheese.

QoTD: Silly as this sounds -- I'd like there to be less F bombs in everything. Save it for when you really need an impact statement. But f-bombing about groceries or the price of gas, I'm over it. Get a dictionary and find new words.

Menu:

B: turkey and cottage cheese

L: depends on what comes home from the grocery store

D: meatloaf and salad.

Peace Everybody!

QOTD- I agree with what everyone has said.

OK now for my rant. The idiots with the fireworks didn't stop until after 2AM, and then my alarm cat took over and kept waking me up. Can I say I despise fireworks... Maybe 3 hours of sleep so I'm running on empty.

I need to take a shower and get going.

Have a great day everyone!
