Good morning all!

I picked up my rental car yesterday and was promptly rear ended three hours later. I'm ok and the car has little divots in the bumper. I can't believe my luck, second time in a month.

It's supposed to snow today so I'm just planning on staying home. I rescheduled a pain management doctor appt for tomorrow and don't have anything else that I need to venture out for. The snow should turn into slush / melt by this evening but I don't want to risk a fall by being out in it.

QOTD: IDK, maybe shrimp that I could pluck off and dip in ****tail sauce puddles.

Accountability: Buffalo Chicken Dip from the deli. I just bought a new container and they had the nutritional info printed on it. This will be my last container.

B: Dannon light and fit strawberry cheesecake yogurt, tangerine.

L: Chicken salad

D: 2 chicken skewers.

S: Light string cheese

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

I bet you could make your own lighter version of the Buffalo Chicken Dip:

This is from Skinnytaste.com

2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts (16 ounces)
4 ounces Less Fat Cream Cheese (1/3, softened, Philadelphia)
1 cup Greek Yogurt (or fat-free sour cream, I prefer sour cream)
½ cup Franks Red Hot Sauce (or whatever hot sauce you like)
½ cup Blue Cheese (crumbled)
1 teaspoon White Vinegar
add Scallions (optional for garnish)
add Cut Up Celery Sticks And Carrot Sticks (for dipping)

Personally, I would play with the recipe to get the flavor you want without the load of calories. Maybe delete the blue cheese and use skinny cow instead.... The Greek Yogurt you could use a 2 Good brand plain for about 100 calories

I would love a salad tree. It would have sections with different types of lettuces and greens, tomatoes, onions, cheese, bacon crumbles. Everything would be crisp, washed, and ready to pick and fill my bowl.

Good morning! I can't believe it's still busy at work!!! But it is and the day should fly. I'm ready to work after a whole day of babysitting. Man, those little girls have energy. I did really well on food picks yesterday and got lots of water in. Hoping for the same today. We have no plans until Thursday night, so that will help me flush out some of this sodium and bad choices I've made the last week.

QoTD: I was all about the cheese, and then I read tacos...I'm going with Christina for the win.

Menu:

B: 1/5 leftover prime rib hash

L: leftover turkey with a couple tablespoons of stuffing

D: left over turkey with cranberry sauce and a couple bites of mashed potatoes

S: we shall see what the body is screaming for. I made it through yesterday with just one tiny cookie. Which are now gone. Thank Goodness!

Peace Everybody!

QOTH- I'd vote for the taco tree, but there would also have to be a salsa tree to go with it.

No work yesterday so I did work on my sewing. I'm not liking the fabric, it is too sheer and hard to handle. Plus I lost track of which direction I'm supposed to be sewing it together, I took the pattern pieces off too soon. I did mark which was the front, so I'll get it figured out. It just seems like they don't go together right. If I don't have any work today I should be able to fini**** I'm not sure why I'm having such a hard time with it, I have the bodice sewn together it's just the bottom and honestly it's only 2 pieces so I shouldn't be struggling like this. Mental block...

I have to say that the covid is really freaking me out. I need to not let it get to me, but it has had me more cautious since I have no one for support if I get sick. Not a good feeling. I've been house hunting online, I'm pretty sure that I'm going to move back home. I will wait another 9 months to make sure. The only good thing is while it is snowing there it's high of 82 low of 64 here so that part is great.

Have a great day everyone!
