I did not want to get on the elliptical today for the 28 minute up to 24 resistance, 10 incline stroll through the desert.....but I did because I did not want to come back here and tell you I was out of the running for the magnet! We motivate and support each other in so many ways, thank you for my motivation today!

I finished the last walk and just ordered my magnet:-). The new software update now summarizes the output of the challenge -33.33 miles in 5.5 hours....over a month, lol.
i also just ordered a forearm heart rate monitor; I hate the chest one so I almost never use it. Hopefully this will work better.

Good Morning!
this Christmas was my first Christmas post op where I didn't have any food limitations.. and while I indulged I still managed to keep portions small and made sure to reach my protein goal daily.. little to say the scale is the same and that's all I could really hope for! My goal going forward I think is to lose approx 5-10 more lbs and see where that leaves me.
im considering getting a cricut.. fellow crafters.. should I?
QOTD; nope..

Learning my new normal, one day at a time.
I got DH his Circuit for his birthday last year and he is still loving it. I even got an orange Christmas card that was impossible to find. So I have no regrets getting it for him. If you love to craft I think this is a perfect reward for all of your achievements.

I got up yesterday and weighed myself. I was up six pounds since the previous Sunday. I had eaten things like candy, cookies, pasta, ham and biscuits. I had skipped a week of Weigh****cher meetings and skipped a week of exercise. I watched too much Netflix and spent too much time on the couch. I indulged in another day of carb coma, then packed up everything last night and put it in the car to deliver to the food mission today. I am spending this week attending WW sessions, tracking every bite, and starting a new iFit program.
It is an eye opener how quickly I could go back to the things that led me to weight loss surgery more than 14 years ago. I also realized that slipping up on food and exercise is a slippery path that could put me down a rabbit hole of laziness and depression.
Thanks QJB for keeping this board going. Thanks everyone who takes the time to come here and share their journey. Hoping the new year brings much health and happiness for everyone.
