What's on your Thursday Menu?
I learned on a stick and drove exclusively stic****il about 15 years ago. I had to get a new (to me, anyway) car, and DH doesn't know how to drive stick and was really stubborn about learning, so I got an automatic in case he ever needed to drive it. There are still days I miss driving stick - although they're getting hard to find these days!

I think we need a picture of your ears to confirm the elf status but you may be on to something!
QOTD - yes, I have done it but I have no issues calling AAA or letting someone else help if they stop. One morning I had a blow out on my way to work (still dark) pulled off the road and a truck with several guys pulled in right behind me and immediately started to change it...and then a lady pulled in behind them to make sure I was wasn't worried being on the side of the rode with several men. I wasn't worried a bit just very happy they were changing the tire but both were a sign of how good hearted people can be.
I am off today, I have my usual 6:30 pilates class and then I'm coming home, changing clothes and going to the art museum; I've had tickets to the Whistler to Cassat exhibition for today for some time so I'm excited. I wore my Yoda-Santa hat out and about yesterday and anywhere I stopped at least one person came up to tell me how much they loved it....and I saw some double takes from the other cars on the road too. Just doing my part to spread joy:-). I'm wearing it again today!
Menu today will be
coffee plus half and half X 3
Built bar
cheese and cashews
Olive bites
I'll probably treat myself to a SF hazelnut mocha on my way downtown too.
Have a fantastic Thursday everyone!

MM- His parents fighting, OMG! I got through it, I'd say yellow light. It got better, but still.
Vanderbilt I thought was very interesting - the history of NYC is just incredible.

Hi all
QOTD: Theoretically I watched my dad show me but never had to actually do it. I also watched him change the oil and helped him change the brakes. Meaning i bled the brakes when it was time. I didn't actually really help. I know how to top off fluids and check oil and put air in a tire. My DH has a project truck that he basically has had everything done on it. So now we have invested so much we can never sell it. A lot of cars do not have a spare. at all...
food was essentially what I planned yesterday, i added a cheese stick and subbed out tuna for the zuchinni. and i ate a few dark chocolate almonds and a few praline pecans.
For today, hoping for early release but not expecting it.
Food plan today
b: coffee
protein pancakes
