After I FINALLY get my prescribed walking boot for my fractured/ severely sprained ankle I plan to leave for Florida as soon as possible.
Yes theres a gala party in Long Island tomorrow nite to open the glorious new library but I can hardly socialize ( or dance ) in pain so I guess Ill skip it and save myself a four hour drive.
big decision- do I drive on ( relatively low fat )( but still fattening ) road food or do I do the RIGHT thing and clean out my refrigerator into an insulated bag and eat clean n fresh food ?
Well Ill try the latter but in the past it worked with mixed results honestly. Im afraid to eat warmed up shrimp seafood or meat. Warm salads are gross and buying ice means moving my car first .
Pissant excuses now that Im reading them - gonna buy some ice and save myself hours of cleaning out the refrigerator when I get back in a month .
Eating in the car without stopping will also make the trip faster and with a lot less risk of getting exposed to Omicron. ( and the Hampton Inns have free coffee and microwaves ? so don?t need to eat cold food )
B- Toaster Oven ( regular oven or air fryer would work great too ) Cajun ? fried ? fresh catfish fillets . Copiously seasoned in Cajun seasoning ( days ago - I keep them almost frozen so they?re still fresh ) egg dipped, biscuit flour dipped and then Panko Shake n Bake ?. SO good !!
S - spinach purée w garlic ff half n half n ? butter ?a few ( fat free ) candies jumped in my mouth watermelon chunks
L Half of a roast beef provolone sandwich on ciabatta (only half the bread ) A potato croquette and chai tea latte
s - more jellybellies ( truly my downfall especially the margarita and pina colada flavors ! ) Sugar begets sugar for me ..... grrr . I know better - I SHOULD stay away and not go down that slippery slope .
D- Caesar salad w very lowfat yogurt Caesar dressing, fat free croutons, shredded Parmesan . Herbal tea .
