Bathroom - only ceramic type tile for me. I had hardwood floor in 2, and linoleum type floor in 2, and we happily replaced them all with tiles. So much easier to clean, and in case of a leak - I don't have to deal with a rotten floor.

If you are thinking of a master bathroom - put in floor heating elements in the floor. You may love it. If you guys would do it yourself, the cost should be that big.

We have tiles in the master bath, and cheap (but nice) rug on the floor (5' x 6.5')

No wood in the bathroom. We have wood in our common half bath, when my son was little he would pee carelessly with lots of floor splatter. That is not good for the wood. I would do a tile if it were me.

My toilet in my 1/2 bath leaked due to bad original work on the subfloor. I ended with rotten wood around the toiled and ..rotten subfloor. When we finally uncovered it to change HW to tiles, I was very surprised that nobody ended going through the floor while sitting on the toilet. (there is tall crawl space under the house, so it would have been a 7 ft drop)

Happy Friday,

The final countdown to Christmas is officially here. My kids last day of school before the Christmas break is today. My DS has been uninspired to go to school all week. Short-timers syndrome. I will have just a few days off from work starting the 12/23rd. DH had bought me a 2 hour spa treatment fior my birthday, I have scheduled that treatment on the morning of the 23rd. Steam, body scrub, and a massage. I can't wait!

In previous years my DD and SIL have gone shopping for Christmas Eve dresses (party dress), but this year we wont be in our home town early enough to do that so I will probably take her this weekend to buy a new dress. I am thinking that I will buy myself a fancy dress also. It would be the first time for me. I was never comfortable in previous years due to my weight. Another non-scale victory! Also, we plan on helping my SIL wit her Meals on Wheels delivery on the 24th. On the 25th my BIL and friends have started a toy drive and delivery. They deliver the toys via horse drawn wagon and go house to house delivering to needy families/kids. We will be helping with that also. I think this should be lots of fun and rewarding experience.

Not much planned for this weekend. We still need to do a Chirstmas light drive through a local park. We went last weekend but the line was not moving so we decided to come back another day. It has to be this weekend because they take it down on Monday.

QOTD: The main floor of my house has wood floors except the master bedroom (carpet), master bath and laundry room(vinyl). Other bathrooms have vinyl, then basement and upstairs have carpet. I would prefer to have tile in my kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room.

B: Light n Fit greek yogurt with collagen, cold brew with caramel drizzle and half n half

L: 1 chicken skewer, 4 cherry tomatoes, lettuce, ff french dressing

S: 1/2c blueberries, chocolate PP

D: TBD- maybe more chicken skewer with lettuce

S: 100 cal bag popcorn

E: 30 min yoga, 30 min treadmill - then a massage!!
