What's on your Thursday Menu?
Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
Well she is still living. I have no idea what is keeping her alive but yup still with the living. It is starting to take a toll on DH. Anytime your an adult and you need to spend that much time with your siblings I can see where it gets stressful. I just continue to pray for peace for all of them. I continue to send crockpots of healthy food so they have something good to eat as they hold vigil. The chili pot came back licked clean yesterday so I am glad it is not in vain. Today I send Chicken thies with a teriyaki siracha sauce. If need be tomorrow will be crockpot pizza.
I will be baking cookies tonight as well. We promised the Non profit we volunteer at we would bake cookies for the Christmas party and it is Saturday. But I am going to cheat. I found a box at Sam's club to make the Hershey kiss cookies and it makes 66 so I am going that route. I have to much going on not to make it easy on myself.
QOTD: I drink Gatorade 0 after I run. I only like orange, purple and light blue.
Accountability: Not so great considering all the Christmas treats in the house. I been eating a bunch of Grinch Kisses and Gingerbread Kit Kats and also I made the Rolo pretzel bites with and M&M in them. I limited myself to 2 of each.

G'morning all!
I guess this is a sign of old age. For the longest time my xmas presents' list has been on a spreadsheet divided into columns: recipient, gift purchased, received (means the online order has reached our home), wrapped (because sometimes I would forget what was in the box I had wrapped.) Each item purchased online would travel from column to column through Nov and De****il it ended up under the tree. This system has been working fine until this year. What has changed you might ask? I don't remember where I have hidden a couple of the presents. They are in the received column, means they were delivered to my home, but for the life of me I can't find where I have hidden them. Which begs the question why did I hide them? Kids are no longer home, why am I hiding the presents? So that proves even more I am going senile. I have looked in all the usual hiding places I used to hide presents in previous years, but to no avail. I guess next year I need to add a new column for the location of the hidden item. One saving grace is that they are not the BIG presents the kids had asked for, but stuff I had bought thinking it would make them smile. Pray for me I find them before Xmas and they don't become like an Easter egg found at Halloween.
QOTD: my usual is water with crystal light in it. I also have Topo Chico or Perrier water. But I have to leave them untapped for at least half a day for the bubbles to go away to be able to drink them.
My meals yesterday:
- B: protein coffee
- L: egg bites & cauliflower thins
- S: quest chips
- D: crockpot turkey chili
- E: 30 minutes cardio + 50 minutes weight training
Happy jr Fri-yay!

I have a spreadsheet for Xmas gifts too! Not as detailed as yours, but I laughed out loud the whole way through your story! I've found things I hide way after the fact as well. Too funny!!

Good morning ~ It's so nice to hear you happy crafting and baking. Well deserved time for you, enjoy every second!
Yesterday was lovely. Our gift exchange and lunch were wonderful. I work with a really great group of people. Today is my department Christmas/ugly sweater party, I brought meatballs. Should be a fun day. I have a manicure this afternoon. Tonight is a cozy night of leftovers, football and maybe Rudolf? We'll see. Just cozy and chill.
Christmas present are coming in the mail left and right and I have been able to hide them and be stealth, mostly unmarked boxes - don't ask don't tell, but today is a problem. I ordered a Traeger for Rob, it is being delivered today and requires a signature. I'm positive it is in a huge box with Traeger written all over. As I was leaving this morning, I told Rob that a box was being delivered and to put it in the garage and "mind ya' business, nutin' to see". There was no way around this one, I didn't want anyone to be tied to their home waiting to sign for my package all day. Oh well!
As we were all pigging out yesterday on naughty foods -as we all will today as well, I talked to my unit about doing a clean eating in January - meaning whatever WOE works for them. For support, encouragement, sharing tips and tricks and everyone is on board. We have a competition folks - it's on! Money prize, healthy dish/hack potluck and hopefully some weight loss! Sounds like fun.
QOTD - Coffee in the am, water all day, in the evening I like 7-up zero sugar. I get the 2 liter bottles and drink it from a 30 oz Yeti w/tons of ice so it's pretty much flat and a little watered down most of the time. I've given up drinking any alcohol for now. I feel great and may keep this up for good.
b- coffee, egg bites
l - potluck
d- leftovers
s - there is food everywhere here - I just want to get out alive at this point.
Have a great day!
