It looks like they delayed and then cancelled her flights. She is rebooked on a Chicago to Detroit to St. Louis to Denver that is scheduled to get in about 3:30, which should be after the wind dies down. Long day, but better safe than sorry.

Good morning Queen JB and Menuers,

Just popping on quick cause my life has taken a sudden turn down crazy street. QJB, What? Relaxing? Enjoying your day? So glad you're getting the relaxation you deserve.

MIL is off life support and at home with Hospice. We removed all life support Saturday, but she is still alive. DH and his siblings have been staying there pretty much 24-7 and just waiting. I am so busy at work and leaning the new system I cannot get time away. I been putting together crockpots of food so they have something to eat but that is all I can do for the moment. We will see what today will bring.

QOTD: I never use the couch I have a Recliner I sit in and yes I usually nod off but I always go to bed I never stay there.

Accountability: Not so great considering on the Chrtmas treats that are coming into the house.

Yay for Wednesday! Can't wait to see your new creations QJB and how fun that you will have a few weeks to play with it.

I am back from my last work trip/first work trip with the new merged organization. I'll leave it at that.

QOTD - nope, I am a bed sleeper unless something very unusual is going on, like being sick.

I have a medium busy day at work and I have to go to two fedex offices and UPS to pick up things I had held while I was traveling (one is a case of wine and only some fedex offices will hold wine); would like to go to TJs today if I can get off work at a reasonable time too but also depending on the wind. Right now, the "hurricane force" is supposed to hit in the afternoon so maybe not. If not, I'm thinking Saturday morning super early might be best to avoid the chaos. I did think to take down the blowup Grogu when I got home at midnight last night so I won't have to deal with that in the wind today.

They should get some snow in the mountains but we're too try down here so it's just going to be sustained wind, gusts up to 100MPH, and high fire danger. Does not look like a white Christmas in the forecast.

menu today

coffee plus half and half x 3

GF English muffin with PB

Lunch olive bites

dinner TBD

Have a great Wednesday!
