Good morning, everybody!
QJB, if you were hungry at Costco and didn't get pizza, you are way ahead of me!
I think that I may be recuperating today. I took a couple of good naps yesterday and that seemed to help a bit. But then I stayed up too late watching murder shows, and that didn't help.
Today is my last medical appointment of the year, barring mishap. Yay!
Work was looking like it was going to ease into the break, but then a couple of things came up, so we will see.
QOTD: I have never seen Citizen Kane.
Breakfast: Sausage and cottage cheese
lunch: Chicken
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!

Stayed up late watching murder shows - I could have written that! Hope you are feeling better.
I've never seen C.K. either. My mother would have been horrified if she knew, it was one of her favorites.

Mornin' All!
I was going back & forth about attending a funeral at noon for a former co-worker (from 30 years ago), but I think I might skip it. It'll be packed (he was super involved in the community before and after his retirement, and he was only 70 years old, so it's not like I'll be missed - and it's a traditional Catholic funeral, which means it'll probably be long, esp if it includes everyone driving to the cemetery afterward for a graveside thing and then some kind of reception afterward). Plus I don't know his family at all, and funerals are really more for the family. I suppose there could be other former coworkers there and it'd be nice to see them, but then again, there might not be. UGH (OK - still not totally convinced I should skip it - but I'm leaning that way...).
I do plan to go to my new Zumba class either way - and if I don't go to the funeral, I'll also go to my senior weight-training class. Love them both.
I ate WAY too much food yesterday (found some old coffee ice cream in the freezer that I made eons ago (we're talking a couple of years ago - if not more). It was icy from age but still tasted wonderful. I ate like a pint of it, which put me up a bit over 2000 calories for the day - UGH. Fortunately, I went to Aqua Zumba yesterday morning and then went on a 90-minute bike ride yesterday afternoon. Although I don't eat back calories, I'm feeling like I'm probably going to be OK after the splurge, but still - it would have been way better to stay around 1500 kcal tops and gotten all that exercise! Oh well - today is another day.
QOTD: all the time. Most recently, "Summer of Soul". I really wanted to see that and missed it. I think it's available on some subscription streaming service now, but unfortunately, not one I subscribe or have access to.
B: plain skyr with fruit compote. Coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: I STILL Haven't had the yogurt "pie" I keep putting on here, so that.
AS: protein muffin and/or Greek yogurt with raspberries
D: not sure. DH will be at work - so probably an egg salad or miso-chickpea sandwich
have a great day, everyone!
Please watch Goonies!!! Clint and I literally went to Astoria OR. and visited Mikey's house and the jail, and it was fantastic! We ARE Goonies. We got to meet them at a Comic-Con a few years back and I cried. It was amazing. I got to meet Corey Feldman, although I did tell him "You will always be Edgar Frog to me", to which he responded with a hug and a "Bless your heart" which I will treasure forever! I need to find the pic and post it on a Friday!

G'morning all!
Today I'm getting my booster; hoping for no side effects. In other news Italy was put on level 4 category for Covid which is high risk. I'm happy I got my trip squeezed in back in Sept because now would have been hard.
Yesterday I tried, I really tried doing my run but it was raining cats and dogs. So the most sensible thing to do was to switch my weight & jog days. Who am I kidding? I'm not training for an Olympic or a marathon, I'm just plugging away in my little corner.
QOTD: can't think of any. Before COVID we were regular movie goers, and since the pandemic most of the movies are being streamed.
My meals yesterday:
- B: protein coffee
- L: mex cauliflower rice & chicken bites
- S: hb egg
- D: shrimp stir fry
- E: 30 minutes cardio + 60 minutes weight training
Happy taco tue!
