Good morning ~ YAY for the last day at stressful job!! Great views though... Onward to bigger and better things!
Last night was so cold and damp that we lit a fire. It's freezing today so I am looking forward to another fire tonight. It's so nice with the Christmas lights and the fire, I just love it so much. I slept like a baby last night but still woke up tired. I have a sinus thing going on, I can feel it in my face. My forehead, between the eyes, the side of my nose and even my teeth. Lovely. I still got up and on the treadmill though. Today - I toured the River Thames. It used to be the red light district of medieval London. Pretty cool now though -London Bridge, Millennium Bridge (Harry Potter), Globe Theater (Shakespeare), outdoor markets and also the neighborhood where Bridget Jones lived and the famous last scene was filmed where she runs after Marc Darcy - which I absolutely love so that was pretty cool. I would totally go if I were in London.
Just a half day today, meeting my kiddo for lunch, taking his/our Corgi back to our place for the weekend to give him a break (she is a lot), grocery shopping and relaxing for the rest of the evening with a fire and a Christmas movie - my choice tonight is Christmas in Connecticut - love that one.
QOTD - My full 'tell' is pressure, if I keep going, chest pain. If I eat dense protein it happens very quickly and I cannot drink afterwards. Soft protein is more subtle and carbs like crackers or popcorn barely anything after eating ton. Hello, Amy - dense protein needs to be your jam.
B- coffee, egg bites
l- Indian with my kiddo - chicken curry probably, no rice and hopefully I can resist the naan
d- TBD steak maybe
Have a great day!

Happy Friday!
The book club last night went well. The book that we discussed (after reading of course) was Hamnet. It is a fiction tale using real life people (Shakspear plus family) and the plague. We had selected it because of the correlation between our current climate (COVID) and the plague. It is an easy read. Everyone in the group seemed to enjoy the book.
This weekend we dont have a whole lot planned. At the beginning of December I looked to see what was happening locally related to Christmas season. Saturday I have planned dinner out at PF Changs, then a famous local hotel has a Christmas tree display. They have different people and businesses creatively decorate various different trees, it is always fun to look at. They even raffle off the trees before Christmas. Then, we will go look at Christmas lights at a local park that does about 1/2 mile of different seasonal lights. Just something to get us out of the house and doing something fun for the season. I tell my family if I didn't plan for us to do something we would do nothing!
QOTD: If I eat too much I get the full feeling that lasts for a long long time and is uncomfortable. Even drinking water is uncomfortable. I also get dumping if I overdo the sugary foods. I ahven't had the foamies in awhile-I think that is mostly related to texture or dryness of a food.
