What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

Ok, friends. It's here... last dayyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!! I am feeling all of the feelings, tbh. I mean, I am thrilled to be out of that pressure cooker and I am NOT SAD to be leaving the big bosses, but I have been saying goodbye to some pretty incredible coworkers lately who I will miss working with. I hope I can tap some of them for future roles at my new school!
But today I have some serious deadlines and really don't have time to be all sentimental! I am going to get my butt in super early and get going. My goodbye party is from 2 - 3pm and I really want to walk out, when it is done!
My Photo Friday are views of downtown Boston from my office windows. I will miss this!
Tomorrow we are running up to Maine all day for an outdoor Christmas Festival in our favorite tourist town. Then Sunday I have a zoom funeral to attend for a close family friend who passed a few weeks ago. It's very sad, of course, but I will be so happy to see so many family and friends for the occasion. I am really missing everyone lately. Then Monday... I have no plans! Well, except for a huuuuuuuge list of things I want to do, haha.
QOTD: What are your post-op "I'm too full" symptoms? I still get a runny nose when I am one bite over the line. I also get a very painful pressure in my chest for a few minutes if I drink anything within an hour of eating. I did that last night and it was agony. Other than that, at 5.5 years post op, I don't feel like I get any other "stop" signals anymore :( My other signals happen AFTER I eat, which is feeling very queasy and tired after anything sugary or with too many carbs.
Food wasn't as bad as I thought it would be yesterday. I was a little higher on calories than I should have been but I was on point with my macros. I am really looking forward to getting them time to examine my menu more carefully, do more prep and exercise, starting... tomorrow, haha.
Not gonna lie--I am celebrating today with food. I know I shouldn't but **** it.
B: Protein Coffee
S: Treating myself to a Starbucks Praline Coffee & Bacon Egg Bites
L: Veggie Burger with Bruschetta Sauce & Cheese
S: Goodbye CAKE (small piece so I don't pass out in front of my coworkers, lol)!
D: We are going out for celebratory Tacos & Margarita!!!!

Good morning and happy last day JB! It's bittersweet but it'll be soooo good for you!
We are having a birthday party here Sunday for my niece Riley and my brother. My brother said it was because it'd be easier on me to have it here. HA. Yeah right...it's easier on him since I have to clean and vacuum as much cat hair up as I can. A tiny bit irritated about it. Mainly about the bit of him saying it'd be easier on me, LOL
Not a lot to do today. We didn't have the kids Monday so we'll have them today after school. I'm likely going to wear a mask around them so I don't get sick before my surgery. It's so bad here with COVID-19. They also had a stomach bug this past weekend...no desire to catch that lovely either.
I apparently make killer pecan brittle. It was my first time ever making brittle and it was so good! So good my mom is having me make cashew brittle. I can't have cashews so it shouldn't be tempting whatsoever. I love cashews but I'm very sensitive to them. The fudge was very good of course but I over cooked the chocolate a tiny bit. My mom said it's still good just a little stiffer than the PB. I admit I had to much yesterday. I haven't had a diet pop since Monday so there's that.
QOTD: for me it's usually a runny nose or the feeling of a brick sitting on the top of my guts(if we're talking meat especially).
B: 4 tbs JUST egg, Muenster cheese and coffee with a couple of peppermint marshmallows
L: I'm thinking of making some cauliflower and broccoli soup...it'll be for either lunch or dinner
D: same as lunch
S: ???
My pics are older but I haven't taken any in a while.
I would love a pair of boxers to sleep in of these. I didn't even see if they did because it's to tempting...I love the print!

QJB - yay for last day! I'm sure you will miss the view-- but probably not the drive nor the sometimes interesting experiences getting from your car to office! is your new office in a location where you are likely to be greeted by the police upon arrival?
QOTD - runny nose and hiccups
Really nice time out last night but I didn't get home until midnight, I have a 6 am conference call and I just did not sleep at all so I'll be dragging by end of day for sure. The concert venue was taking their double checking the vax cards and ids very seriously which I was happy to see. We were at the back of the venue so no one was breathing on me, it was perfect...and the first show in a while where no one was trying to talk louder than the band.
Other than definitely coffee I am not sure what my menu holds, maybe some yogurt and cheese, maybe yogurt with muesli.
Photo Friday is my first full size christmas tree and my front yard decorated; I found out that the neighbor toddler comes out before dinner each night to see the lights and visit Grogu (and she did that with the halloween decorations too, although she liked the hanging in the tree jackskellington more than halloween Grogu...toddler after my own heart).
Have a great weekend everyone!

Aww thank you! Yes, so the lights only go up as high as I can reach on the ladder, lol. The shrubs I can at least get all the way around so they probably have too many lights but I like it!
The tree inside came prelit and has 7 different flashing patterns!!
