Good morning JB, I agree with everyone, go to the party ( Never been to a party I did not enjoy...LOL) Short and sweet today, busy day and end of year financial reporting due next week.

Last evening was a good evening at the gym, I used the WM curb side service and had to wait for 30 minutes, but prefer to going inside. I did a few things around the house, we hit the Hot Tub and then it was time for bed, I usually watch 30 minutes of Shark tank before turning in, last night there was a company that received an offer from Lori Grenier called fish fix https://shop.fishfixe.com/, premium at home seafood delivery service. I may try this service.

Accountability - very good, I had a handful of Trader joes, Baked Cheddar crunchies.

MS - Raspberries

L - Ham salad, Cukes, Light string cheese, Sundried tomato dressing

AS - Turkey stick and cheese

QOTD- I've had multiple strays in my life, I've loved them all. My favorite was an orange tabby Fat Cat, she used to sleep on my chest and was the sweetest girl. Unfortunately there are a ton of feral cats here, a lot of people feed them and some people have tried to adopt them but they just return to where they came from. I was going to my car last night and I heard a meow and saw a beautiful orange tabby, most of the feral cats don't make any noise so I'll keep checking for him and see if I see him again. There are 3 kittens and at least 2 adults that live on the property next door. There are also a ton of feral chickens on this island, there are no predators so they just keep multiplying. Some of the roosters are gorgeous.

I asked someone that I ran into when I was looking at the flooding if this weather happens very often and she told me no. So I'm a little relieved. The road I walk to the beach is underwater, and the surf undermined and eroded about 2 feet of the road, so I doubt that it will open back up soon. I saw some really amazing drone footage of the flooding and realized how close I was to it, in one shot I could see my condo building. This area usually doesn't get that much rain.

I was having issues all day yesterday with the drawing program we use, it's auto cad based and it just didn't like me yesterday. I'm hoping it is better today.

QJB- go to the party!

Have a great day everyone!

Mernin' yall!

QOTD - I'm a saver. I always have been. I've saved everything from as small as spiders to as big as dogs, and everything in between. A baby cardinal impaled on a rose bush, a squirrel with broken hind legs, you name it, I've tried to save it. I've learned not everything can be saved or rescued but I will be damned if I don't try. That's why we have 5 dogs, 2 cats, and...lots of good friends who have become family. All of our pets are rescues. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Breakfast - coffee

Lunch - MINGS! I'll be having fried tofu bao, and I'm so excited I can't stand it

Dinner - not sure, but I am not cooking, so hoping for veggie pizza!

I hope you all have a great day!

Also, didn't you cede your front entry to a spider friend so as to not disturb her house? I think that was you!

YES! Tammy Lynn, the arabesque orb weaver. I'm so sad, she has left us. Her web is still up, I don't have the heart to knock it down yet. It's cooled off a lot here in San Antonio, so my MIL consoled me saying Tammy probably left to hole up somewhere, but I don't know. I have seen a few other of her kind, one on the back sun room window (under a light) and then one in a tree at the back of the property. Tammy had gotten HUGE so maybe she's off and had babies. I would talk to her every day, (from inside the window of the door of course). Yes, I had posted about her on FB. She was fantastic!

Good morning ~ I would totally go to the new job holiday party! I used to dine on cheese-its and wine a lot for dinner, they are so good together!

I was able to get so much work done yesterday and hope today is just as productive. The better I take care of myself, the better I feel - all the way around. Productive, organized and on track. Last night I made a quesadilla with the 15 cal tortillas and it was AMAZING. The soft tacos I had for lunch were good too. I wish they had a good corn tortilla hack, they are my favorite but the flour ones work well (did I mention how fantastic the quesadilla was? OMG). Watched murder shows instead of Xmas movies. Another BTK repeat and then found a couple forensic files I'd never seen before. I thought I had seen them all at least 2 or 3 times.

Today I was up on the treadmill slow jogging (yup!) London's East End, the industrial slums of years past. Interesting history, major gentrification happened/ing and really cool street art everywhere. Not sure I would go there on a visit to London, but interesting non the less. Tonight we ARE watching a Christmas movie - I need some relaxing, nostalgic fluff in my life.

QOTD - No, I haven't taken in a stray but I did take (gifted, not stolen!) my neighbors cat 8 years ago when he was moving away. He was a big orange kitty who stayed out 24/7. He used to greet me in the driveway and walk me to my door everyday. Anyway this is him now @ almost 15 years old. A spoiled, very vocal, mostly indoor kitty, he will go in the backyard prowling though. LOVE HIM!

B- coffee, 90 cal keto bagel and cream cheese

l- chicken bites, Mexican cauli rice

d- chicken quesadilla -again!

s-whisps, protein bar

Have a great day!

Was MIA yesterday. So... I was way too ambitious Monday when I got my booster shot. I used to be someone who would go, go, go and had that mindset for keeping my obligations for the rest of the day past my morning booster shot. I was just extremely weak and achy and had a nasty headache for the rest of Monday and yesterday. I didn't have any desire to eat yesterday but forced myself regular meal times for protein and consumed lots of liquids.

Speaking of the rest of Monday, I went and played cards, ran a few errands including grocery shopping, and finished up work I had to do before afternoon class. Afternoon class brought up an assignment due by the end of the day but my partner never uploaded her work. I went to dinner with a couple of old friends at a chain called Lazy Dog in the north burbs. I tried some of the wok fired calamari app that was fried and has some sugary plum sauce. I was worried my body wouldn't like that choice but was fine. I had a cobb salad for dinner and ended up taking most of it home.

QOTD: I had a temporary stray kitten on vacation in Mexico. The stray came up to my hotel room and was purring outside. I bought food and milk and left it outside. The kitten didn't move. For the week and a half I was on vacation, the kitten followed me and found me throughout the island. I inquired about taking it home but found out it was a no go unless I wanted to try to smuggle it on my person.

Accountability: few pieces of fried calamari with plum sauce Monday. At the grocery store, I bought a buffalo chicken dip I love and have been grazing. I'm half tempted to throw the rest away before I eat it all over the next few days.

B: Dannon light and fit Coconut yogurt, banana, Starbucks iced coffee with sugar free vanilla and stevia.

L: rest of leftover Cobb salad with a couple slices of fresh avocado.

D: chicken salad or PP shake

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

I got my booster on Monday as well. Just a headache but dang my arm is sore. I had some reaction to it and have a goose egg on my arm along with an egg sized welt.

I get that egg-sized lump after tetanus shots. I'm due for one in 2022. Ugh. I always dread them because of that!
