What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Same. Daughter replied with a list Thanksgiving weekend. Boys trickled in. Same with vacations, now that my daughter knows how much it costs to pay for your own trips, she replies within minutes to any invitation.

Good morning ~ I resemble that meme! It is Tuesday after all and I am having tacos today. Here's to only 4 more days, QJB, you got this!!
Didn't decorate the tree last night. We decided to wait until DS comes over Sunday. He and his girlfriend just broke up and while he is being very mature about it, I know he is heartbroken. I'm not convinced it's really over, but it's his life and his decision to make. Whatever he chooses, I will support. DS also told me his dad was having WLS. He is super high risk, multiple co-morbidities and other alcohol/drug related damage. He told me he weighed 440, I was shocked it was so much. He had always been in decent shape until his 50's (he's 58). He was given a 40/60 chance of survival - this is literally life or death for him. His surgery is 12/15 so DS is stressing about that also. Anyway, we thought waiting to decorate would cheer him up while watching his favorite Christmas movies and baking gingerbread cookies. He could use some extra special love right now. It matters not that he is 27.
I had a great day food/exercise wise yesterday, slept really well last night. This morning I hit the treadmill and had a Royal tour of Westminster. I love the guided tours, time flies and they are lovely. I have a lot of work to do today, should go by fast. Tonight we are watching a Christmas movie or special, Robs pick.
Edit to add QOTD - I have NO problem now - none, zilch - personally or professionally but I remember when I did, vividly. In my 20's I used to have to give a presentation to staff (50+ people) weekly. I would literally black out - visually anyway, just my eyes. Everything would go dark and I would be sweaty and petrified. I had to practice looking around the room at the same points over and over until I knew them blind - literally. It was all I could do not to pass out. It was like that into my 30's until it just stopped.

Good Morning Menuers,
I had a nice birthday weekend. We did our celebration on Saturday and although I did okay eating most of the day I did overindulge on cheesacake for which I paid the price with nausea and general yucky feeling. I kept telling myself it is not worth the price to eat this type of food. Of course, by morning I was feeling better and had the old craving to eat like crap. I didn't eat bad on Sunday, got back on the good eating plan and did my exercise. It definitley goes to show that I haven't conquered the old mental habits related to poor eating habits. I really do think I should keep away from trigger foods. I know that we are suppose to create healthier habits, smaller portions, and nothing should be completely eliminated but some foods make me want to go back to old habits...just best to avoid those as much as possible.
QOTD: I am more comfortable now than when I was younger especially if it is a subject I am knowledgable about. Never has been my favorite thing to do.
B: Triple zero greek yogurt with collagen, cold brew (I got a cold brew machine for my bday!), caramel drizzle, half n half
L: 1/2 WW shepards pie
S: PP chocolate
D: Lettuce, turkey, french dressing
S: 100 cal popcorn bag
E: 30 min walking, 30 min yoga
