What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
Happy Friday,
It is my birthday weekend! My husband asked what kind of cake I wanted and I chose a cheesecake with strawberry compote. I wasn't sure I wanted all of that fluffy flour cake. Not a whole lot planned for the weekend. Probably out to eat. I have looked up some holiday fun activities and will probably go look at some lights.
Yesterday I bought tickets for Hamilton (the play). Yikes those were expensive. Some of the tickets were over $1000. I know the play is popular but that is just crazy. I found a Sunday matinee with somewhat reasonable tickets with good seating.
QOTD: My favorite way to exercise is doing an activity that is fun but also counts as exercise. This summer it was kayaking and swimming in the lake, fall and spring is hiking outside. Come this winter it will be downhill skiing. Otherwise, I am currently doing 30 minutes of yoga and walking on the treadmill. I know that running would give me a better calorie burn for the time spent, but not a fan of running.

The photos are of my kids trying on their grandfather's WWII issued army coat and hat. My FIL has kept his entire uniform and it is in pristine condition. He gave it to my son since he knows DS is interested in the military.

My favorite ways to exercise are walking around the city and walking barefoot on the beach and swimming laps .
B - Peach Cobbler, Orange Juice
L -small piece Chicken Breast Francaise , Asparagus Tips in Bearnaise Sauce
S - Papaya and Chinese Pear Apple and a fresh fig
D - TBD but maybe oven fried Cajun Catfish or a Greek Salad
Will walk at least 3/4 mile today and hope to do some stretching and light yoga in my living room.
good question- super late post for me. i've been super slack about exercising probably 4 months since I've been consistent.
QOTD: When I'm being consistent, I weight lift 3 times a week and walk on treadmill to try to get more steps in. I used to jog very slowly and i tend to jog better outside not on treadmill. I like the idea of water aerobics but the closest place is 40 min away and requires a different gym membership. I also like zumba but most places here don't have classes right now. so i'm really torn and a SUCK at exercising at home.
