That is great news that they are finally showing you some well-deserved appreciation. It will make these last days easier to get through.

I had struggled with my piercings feeling irritated for a long time, but it never got bad enough to go to a doctor. A lady at the jewelry counter at Walmart sold me some drops and they were like a miracle. This was years ago and I wish I could remember what it was. Might be worth it to ask at a jewelry counter or store. I stopped wearing earrings sometime during the pandemic.

Yay for people being supportive and also for jr Friday and then only having Friday and your last week!

I have my in person book club tonight, Pilates this morning and a couple of big end of day deadlines, I need to send something off for review before I head to my 630 Pilates class too. The book we read for tonight's book club was "Never Stop Walking" about a young woman adopted from the favelas in São Paulo by a Swedish couple as an 8 year old. It was interesting.

JB seems you and i had the same non sleeping issue. I woke up at 2, had indigestion so took something. didn't really help so I've been up since then. i decided to start adding more vegetables to my diet the last 2 days so its likely the raw vegg.

at 6 am i just started working because why not? today i might take a lunch time nap, though the experts say not to do that.

QOTD: side sleeper also. though i tend to 'log roll' a lot. i can be a wiggle worm at times.

food for today- cooked vegetables except for the planned steak salad.

b: protein pancakes

s: oat concoction

l: chicken sausage with cooked zuch

Good morning all!

Love the meme.

It's getting to be crunch time in the semester. I have a bunch of assignments overdue and due Sunday. How I've felt the second half of this semester is making me question if I want to continue on past the spring semester. Being a big procrastinator doesn't help but I'm not letting school issues derail my weight journey. Down another couple pounds since pre-Thanksgiving.

I'm going to the DMV today but have a reservation. I'll see how long it will take to get in and out while having to do the written and vision test. I don't know why I have to do the written and vision test but having a handicapped plate is the only thing that might draw a red flag.

QOTD: Due to my right leg pain, I have to sleep on my left side and I've always been more comfortable with an arm under the pillow.

B: Dannon light and fit coconut yogurt, banana, TJ cold brew coffee, sf vanilla, stevia, unsweetened almond milk

L: PP Coffee

D: Chicken Salad and some type of frozen veg.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

Due to Covid, my drivers license was expired for months! I couldn't get an appointment. Then I read that California would automatically extend my license because of Covid. So I went on line, updated everything and hit submit. 3 months later, I called and asked about it. Turns out you are required to update the address in two locations on the website, so it went to my old address. Argh. Finally got the license and they DID NOT UPDATE MY WEIGHT!!!! I am still pissed off that for once I weigh way less than what I was willing to admit to, and still my license is not accurate. LOL.

That's so frustrating about the license. My trip to the DMV today was pretty painless. I was in and out in less than an hour. They didn't even do the vision test so that may explain some of the other crazy drivers on the road.
