8 days left, friends! I can do this, right?

Yesterday was basically the same in terms of my bosses not acknowledging me, etc., but I was able to step out of my body and watch the whole thing without any emotion. It's funny how many people feel like they can be honest with me now about how awful everything is now that I am leaving. I had soooo many people confide in me about how they are feeling about work yesterday. I guess we were all suffering silently... Who knew?

I have to give a 3 hour training this afternoon that I have barely written. I really should have done more to prep over the holiday but it was so hard to rally.

QOTD: Describe yourself in a few words as the exact opposite of how you really are! I am a vegan, super-chill, illiterate, hippie.

Food was great yesterday. I was too busy to be hungry. I did have a glass of "omg did this day really happen?" wine but no regrets there.

B: Protein Coffee, DDs Egg & Cheese Wrap

S: HB Egg

L: 2 TJs Turkey Meatballs

S: Cheddar Cheese & Apple Slices

D: Hawaiian Pineapple & Turkey Kielbasa Rice

Oy JB...sending you some positive energy...sounds like you're dealing with a juvenile instead of a 64 year old man. What a boob. Sorry you're having to deal with this...BUT you've got this! Just focus on the time off you'll have in between!

Yesterday my niece Rachel had a school program I forgot about. Well I forgot to mention it I mean. It was pretty cute! It would of been great if the seats didn't absolutely kill me. Anyways...she was one of the hosts of a reality tv competition for the north pole reindeer talent show. Rachel absolutely slayed it...not one forgotten line and it was nice to see that she is getting along better with the kids in her school. She has mostly friends that are boys and I figured that'd be the case. She is sort of a tomboy. I forgot my camera but I wouldn't of been able to get good pics anyway as it was dark. So proud of that kid(and the other two too!). Rachel has had a lot of things going on. Her parents expect her to do more adult like behavior since she's the oldest. She is 10 years old for gods sake! She is only 18 months older than Riley! I'll stop this before I get angry lol.

Regarding CBD or medicinal marijuana suggestions from yesterday ...Texas is way behind the curve on this. I have talked to my NP about it and she says it can be very dicey. Since Texas is so freakin uptight it can be hard to find a good one here. I also get drug tested about every three to two months. If it even has trace amounts of THC in the product I'll get flagged for it. I could go into to this issue more because it flippin ****** me off. So many people could benefit from medical marijuana...I mean SO MANY!

No big plans for the day. We bought a little indoor smoker and we're going to try some meat on it today. They delivered it at 6:50 yesterday morning...LOL. Pain is really high. I wish I could ignore it but lately it's just not working out. It's funny that it's so numb yet hurts so damned much. I may make some meals to put up in the freezer for after surgery...will happen either today or tomorrow.

QOTD: GOOD ONE! I love your answer!

Mine would be: laid back, conservative, outgoing, animal hating and short

B: JUST egg, cheese and coffee

L: ???

D: I can't remember the kind of meat my mom got..pork or beef

S: ???

Will do...the one we got is just a simple Nordic Ware pot like one...you can use it on the gas grill too. It had mixed reviews. We wanted to try out smoking and if we love it we'll think about gettting a nicer one.

Yeah for your niece. Same with my DH He has to test to continue on Long Term disability so Medical Marijuana is not an option. It is available here in Pennsylvania but he cannot have it.

Good morning! Happy HumpDay!!

Today I have PT this morning and I'm trying to use up my last two personal training credits before my trainer quits on Sunday, so I have a personal training session this evening. Plus work in the middle! I had put up my outside decorations on Monday but had to wait for the solar lights to charge to see how I liked them; they were a bit skimpy so I had to order some new ones and I'll put those up too sometime today so they can charge. Busy Wednesday!

QOTD - part of the quiverful movement

menu today

coffee plus half and half x 3

eggnog yogurt

Pistachios and baked lemon ricotta cheese (I got a small package of this to freeze to see how it is; I'm thinking it will be just like frozen cheese cake and then I can have it more than the 5 days TJs sells it)>

italian beef

Hump Day Camel just for Chrissie!
