Yay for 9 days left....sorry your adult boss is acting like a child but 9 days, yay!

QOTD - Yesterday I was able to get the gifts for my team at 50% off thanks to a cyber monday code, that was exciting. Amazon Treasure truck had a lifetime subscription to Rosetta Stone for about 150 last week but I wasn't fast enough to get it.

I am doing a mid morning TRX class today during my lunch and I have virtual bookclub tonight (Black Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse was the choice) so it will be a busy day on top of work. At least there's no commute time!

menu today

usual coffee plus half and half X3

Protein oatmeal or eggnog greek yogurt

olive bites I didn't make yesterday

italian beef

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning and Happy Tuesday everyone.

QJB- I thought about you yesterday and I am proud of you!! I hope your supervisor can act like an adult and not make the next 9 days uncomfortable. Maybe take a few sick days, mental health is real.

QOTD- I haven't seen any good sales. I actually feel like we have been bleeding money lately. So, I am actively not spending.

Food plan for today=

Egg bites

insides of chicken tacos

Hello Fresh

Today is going to be a busy day at work. I need to remind myself to drink my water and to pee! I really need a new assistant!

I have worked at companies where the day a person gives two-week notice, they are told to not come into the office for those two weeks. I agree that it is just stressful for everyone. I was hoping your job would do that. Take a few sick days if you have them.

Mornin' All!

sorry to hear about your boss' reaction, QJB. That's pretty juvenile...

I'm planning on going to a Zumba class at 9:30 and a strength training class at 11:00 (I usually just go to the weight room for that, but I need to do something different - at least for today). I also need to stop in at a friend's to feed her cat (she had to leave town unexpectedly because her 90-something mother needed emergency surgery). And make scones for a meeting tomorrow morning. I think that's it...

QOTD: I don't really pay attention since I get most of my "stuff" at thrift stores and on eBay...(and even given that, I don't buy much "stuff"). I did buy two "loungers" (sleepware - these knee-length hooded things) at Costco the other day for $9.99 each, though. Two different colors. I LOVE them!

B: I'd planned on protein pancakes topped with plain Greek yogurt and cranberry/cherry compote, but I may just have yogurt since I'm not hungry (although I do need protein before those two classes - but maybe yogurt will be OK - I'll just take a protein bar with me just in case...)

MS: if I need anything, a protein bar or shake

L: miso/chickpea spread on 35-calorie bread with tomato and cucumber slices

AS: protein muffin (??)

D: I think stir-fried vegetables with chik'n strips

have a great day, everyone!

I have managed to find some good deals on clothing at Costco, it is all about timing and I have been burned in the past when I did not buy initially, went back to purchase and they were out of stock...

that's happened to me as well, which is why I went back the morning of the very next day, hoping there'd still be a few there. Thankfully, there were, because I figured they'd probably be gone given my past experiences!
