The First Holidays following Surgery is different, you will find joy in your ability to stay on program. Stalls can be frustrating, but you have this, continue to follow your process. I had VSG on 11/19/14, the best advice I could give you is to follow your program to a "T" without a nibble here or there of things we should not eat. You are doing great!!!

Keep doing what you are doing and the scale will follow! Hang in there :)
QJB, so happy for you on the job front!
QOTD - my mom's dressing. It's the best. After that, hands down my mac and cheese. I have been perfecting it for over 20 years.
Breakfast - not fasting, but I'm not having food. Just an oat milk latte, with homemade whip and Abuelita chocolate. (homemade is the best). I just needed some comfort, it's cold here.
Lunch - not sure, hubs has a dr appt so I am on my own. Maybe will go with work wife, and check out local place. I could go for some steamed buns with fried tofu!!! My fave!
Dinner - anything but leftovers from tksgiving. Please.
I hope you all have a great day!

...And now I am craving your perfected Mac & Cheese!
I have this belief that everyone should work a lousy job at least once in their life. After that you appreciate a good job even more. A good working situation will make your life so much easier. Congratulations on the new job and wishing that this ends up being the best job you ever have.
My husband was Italian and we had lasagna as a side dish to every holiday meal. After Thanksgiving dinner is cleaned up, my family will sit down and make the Christmas plans. Someone will be in charge of the lasagna that we still have in his memory. I have not done lasagna in quite a few years, so might make it this year.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
I always make lasagna for Xmas eve dinner.

we've been eating lasagna for Christmas most years for probably the last ten or fifteen years. I got the idea from a former co-worker, and it sounded perfect - you can make it ahead of time, it feeds an army, and everyone likes it. Is this an Italian tradition, btw? (my husband's grandparents were from Italy - they always had lasagna for Christmas dinner, too - but he's not sure if it's an actual Italian tradition or if it was just that family's). I always make a cheesecake for dessert. The one I made last year was a classic - it had a chocolate crust, some orange zest in the filling, and a cranberry sauce-type thing on the top. Everyone said it was going to become the new Christmas tradition (well that...and the lasagna!)
Actually we are not supposed to eat meat on xmas eve (Santo Stefano). Dinner is usually all kinds of seafood and cheese. But, I'm lazy and can't cook fish so I started the lasagna here in America. When we are in Italy for Xmas and my SIL is in charge we have appetizer, pasta, and entrees all with fish, lobster and all kinds of muscles or shell.
