What's on your Monday Menu?
I went with this set of Tramontina stainless steal. This was the best price I could find. This set was recommended by New York Times and America's Test Kitchen. A few people mentioned how there's a bit of a learning curve to using stainless, but they love it! Apparently the Tramontina is a "dupe" of All-Clad, which just wasn't in my budget.
My mom did just buy to Green Pans and said she's liking them. They're nonstick, but something other than Teflon, maybe ceramic?

Good mornin everyone, hope y'all had a good weekend!
This is going to be a busy week. I'm going to make some oatmeal cookies today I think. I've got to clean a little...mainly just the bathroom and I need to steam mop the kitchen. I will probably do that tomorrow though. Tomorrow I'm going to make the cheesecake for the others, another Virginia peanut pie and chocolate chip cookies. Wednesday I'll be making a peanut butter pie. I need to figure out if I want to make dressing I can have. It's not my most favorite thing so I'm not sure. I might make a very small dish of it with my GF bread. I tried making some cornbread that's GF and I didn't like the texture for dressing...kind of gummy and it didn't dry out hardly at all. We'll see I guess. My SIL is making green bean casserole...which I detest in the normal way it's made. So that's not tempting whatsoever. I am thinking of doing some roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon.
Plans for the day aren't much...we have the kids after school. We'll likely have to pick them up from school tomorrow and since they're out of school Wednesday we'll likely have them all day. Should make cooking interesting, Rachel always wants to help and she is super messy lol. It's sweet she wants to help. When I have surgery she told us she wanted to come over to stay to help my mom and me. She is a sweet girl.
QOTD: I'd say my bed in ZERO G mode. Right now not much, if anything, is cozy. If I sit for long my back hurts so much more and my back all the way down my legs go numb.
B: JUST egg, cheese and coffee
The rest is entirely unplanned.

My son is supposedly cleaning today. Marilyn had to remind him that she bought him a vacuum cleaner when he moved in back in August.

Good morning, everybody!
I have a doctor's appointment with a new primary this morning. We have had a lot of doctor turnover at our healthcare provider, but I never thought that my doctor would be one of them. He was about my age and I figured that he would stay in his current job until retirement. But apparently not. My Baratrician went back to general practice, so i will probably get assigned a new one next year.
We had a good weekend and are excited for the kids coming in this week. My son gets in late tonight and my daughter on Wednesday. Youngest is still home, of course.
I am working Monday through Wednesday. It is looking like Tuesday is the busy day. My calendar for Wednesday is pretty open. Today, I have to try and reign a project that is going poorly back in once I get back from the doctor's office.
QOTD: Definitely our family room. Big couches, blankies, and pillows.
Breakfast: Protein bar
Lunch: blackened chicken
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!
