Your boss is a complete idiot. I would call and tell them I need to quarantine for the next 14 days I had an exposure. That would fix them. Volunteering your time for the good of nothing. That sucks. Hope the rest of your weekend get better and good luck with the opportunity. Saying prayers for you for sure.
Tonight we volunteer for a good cause. We head in to low income areas in our county and pass out a warm meal, Health and beauty aids, coats and hats. I always take candy in my pocket for the kids. DH is home crocheting some hats today to pass out this evening. We go to each area in need once a month and they are aware we are coming. It is nice to actually know the struggles and how they got there and hope the little we do for them helps brighten there day a bit. The name of the non profit is Neighbor to Neighbor and there will be a few big events coming up for the holiday season. I typed about all the cookies DH volunteered me to bake.
QOTD: All of it I am not picky as long as I am away from work and relaxing. I do tend to vacation at the Ocean whenever I get a chance.

My sister in law is from Pittsburgh and I didn't really understand why her family drove up with the cookies for the cookie table, until the wedding reception...then I got it!

Dinner - We have kids, and I'm tired and headachy today, so probably something out. I may ask hubs to grab something for him and kids, and I can just do some soup and crackers.

Mornin' All!
My cat had a vet appt first thing this morning (just her annual exam), so I wasn't able to go to a water fitness class. Poop. Other than biking, that's my favorite type of cardio. I'd just skip exercise today if it weren't for the fact we're going to some open house thing this evening - but I have to do SOMETHING to offset a potential calorie overload (even if I don't go hog wild there). I guess it'll be some youtube video..
other than that, I have to make some kind of appetizer or dessert for the party tonight. DH wanted me to make brownies, but I think I'll make oatmeal cranberry cookies instead. The recipe I'm going to use only makes 16 of them, which means few if any left over. Plus they're probably a bit healthier than brownies to boot. So there we go...
QOTD: ocean (or any time of beach - a lake will do, too!). I've lived in mountains so I've already had that experience (plus the fact I LOVE the big, open sky of the Upper Midwest - didn't have that in western NC because the mountains took up part of it). Forests cut out too much sunlight. So...beach it is!
B: plain Greek yogurt topped with 1/2 cooked, diced apple and SF "maple" syrup. Coffee with half & half

L: I'm thinking a late lunch of cheesecake-flavored yogurt pie with blueberry compote

Good morning ~ Swinging a chicken for you you, QJB and sending tons of good juju and peaceful vibes your way! Life is good right now - I am in a really balanced peaceful place and I'm happy. 5 days in a row I woke up early and got on the treadmill. It's a huge accomplishment for me and I love it. Today is a short work day, followed by a manicure and I reserved a lane to swim afterwards. It's a overcast and in the 60's but I have my long sleeved rash guard. I am looking forward to hot tub and steam room after. So relaxing. Grocery shopping and then home for the weekend! Tomorrow I have a lot of things I want to do around the house and Sunday is supposed to be warm so we are golfing early before football starts. Not much else going on, at least I think.
QOTD - I love all, but Ocean is my #1. The water where I am is FREEZING (think Alaska), even compared to NE. I don't go in either, but I love everything about it - the sand, the air, the breeze, the birds, the people - the food!

Last night after work I stopped by Costco. I did not buy a lot, but a bunch of things. When I got home I was tired. I had a piece of cheese for dinner. Sliced thinly. And a keto ice cream bar. THE only keto ice-cream that doesn't make me sick, or gives me nasty gas. Sometimes I think it was bad idea to try it. Any other ice cream makes me not well.
