Holy moly, 5 hours of commuting is ridiculous! Traffic seems to basically be back to pre-pandemic levels around here, so I'm thankful I only go to my office half the week.
QOTD: I'm all ready for work (from home) in leggings and a sweater hoodie. One day when I have to go back to wearing "real" clothes five days a week I'm going to be really sad.
My aunt who had WLS two weeks ago graduated to purées today and sent me a message about her excitement of having chicken for breakfast LOL. Brought back all the feels!
8:30 - coffee, egg bites
11:30 - protein shake, berries
2:30 - yogurt, carrots
6 - taco Tuesday
8:30 - rice cakes with PB, almonds

Good morning, everyone!
Timely QOTD, JB. Like Annie, I am finding that I am not enjoying wearing grown up clothes. Pants, belts, hurty shoes, dress shirts, yuck!
If I make it through today, I can wear jeans and sneakers on the plane ride home and won't even think about going into the office until after Thanksgiving.
I have decided that I won't starve here, there are plenty of food choices for meals and they have snack stations all around with good choices (and not so good - looking at you two packs of mini cannoli from afternoon snack)
QOTD: I am wearing a peach colored Tee Shirt that I got in Sonoma. From a distance one might believe that I am wearing gym shorts, let's leave it at that.
breakfast: ham and eggs
lunch: chicken parm
dinner: Mahi Mahi
have a great day, all!

wow, JB i would have lost it in traffic. I hate it when i have to drive to atlanta for anything- i have to allow all this extra time
I can't believe you have not had taco bell- you have to and get the nacho fries!
QOTD: lularich leggings, tee, long sleeve tee on top and a doxie dog on my feet under a blanket.
food was pretty good, instead of having another snack last night i had tea. it was actually pretty good. I can officially flush the toilet downstairs now. helped DH lift the toilet so he could put the shims under it to set it. we had breakfast for dinner.
Food today:
b: protein waffle, coffee 8;30 latest
s: 10:30 yogurt
l: chicken miso soup
s: ?
d: sandwich for dH, maybe chicken sausage with pasta sauce and shiritaki noodles? or something else on the 'list'
s: unknow
G'morning all!
QJB- 5 hours commute EACH way? That's not doable not even for the few weeks you have to heal your eyes. Why is it that during pandemic everybody could be productive from home but now everybody has to be in person at the office?
Taco Bell - I don't think you have missed much. Admitted, I'm not a big taco person but the very few times I went into a taco bell I didn't get a good clean feeling. I wasn't sad when the one in town closed down.
QOTD: it's 5:00 am here so still in my PJs. Red/black flannel pj bottoms. A grey tshirt that says wife-mom-boss (it was a Mother's Day gift from DH a couple of yrs ago). Ugg slippers (fuzzy and warm). Getting my coffee ready and enjoying the quiet.
My meals yesterday
- B: coffee
- L: hb egg + epic venison
- S: beef jerky, Fage yogurt + sf gingerbread latte syrup (sooooo yum)
- D: Mexican cauliflower rice + chicken bites
- E: 10K jog
Happy taco Tue!

I've found Taco Bell i**** or miss. I prefer a local chain called Taco Villa or even better some of the local restaurants. Actual Mexican food. Really though homemade is the best! I haven't eaten out in almost 2 years now...just take out 3 times.
Mel
Agreed. I'd rather go to a local Mexican restaurant, which thankfully we have plenty in our area.
