Morning Gang! Happy Taco Tuesday. Would you believe I have NEVER eaten at a Taco Bell? It's on my bucket list!
Sorry - downer alert! Yesterday was just a terrible day from start to finish. I have an approved amended work schedule for a few weeks so that I don't drive at night, but driving during daylight hours means the traffic is terrible and I literally spent 5+ hours in the car commuting yesterday to be in the office for 6 hours, then have to come home and do another 5 hours from home. Plus there was a ton of stupid work drama that made me want to storm off multiple times.
I ended the night wallowing in my feelings, so I ate a cake pop, then proceeded to have terrible RH from it and it made me feel even worse. I need today to be a lot better or I am not going to make it through this week.
QOTD: What are you wearing right now (I'm not being skeevy, I promise, lol!)? Its 4am so I am in my PJs. I am wearing a big soft t shirt that PartlyPollyanna sent me a few months ago, with Dolly Parton's face wearing a crown. Queen Dolly is my inspo :) And I am wearing grey sweats and big fluffy slippers.
Besides the cake pop indiscretion, I didn't really eat much yesterday. I didn't have time...

QJB, your commute has always seemed brutal but that is so much worse than before, not really conducive to healing. Maybe your doc needs to update your medical condition to no driving and then you can just work from home; you did it successfully for a year+, not making an accommodation is really just your administration being asshats.
QOTD - blue and white nightgown with my purple fleece unicorn robe over it with warm socks (and yes, typing my outfit is making me feel a little weird).
I have not put together a menu plan for the day; I should do that!

Sorry about your commute. Since the pandemic, there's been no rhyme or reason for traffic congestion here in Chicago.
NSV: not needing the seat belt extender in my car anymore
Today is my birthday so I'm going to celebrate with family.
QOTD: a pair of shorts. It isn't cold enough yet to dig out my Homer Simpson slippers but it's only a matter of time.
B: Dannon light and fit coconut yogurt, banana
L: debating between a filet mignon or prime rib with seasonal vegetables. I'll be saving most of the meal. My Mom was talking about finding a sugar free dessert but I told her it really wasn't needed with all the food for lunch.
D: 2 Chicken skewers or a PP shake.
HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.
