What's on your Monday Menu?
A) my husband would consider himself rich beyond all riches if he could have a new pair of socks each day of his remaining life.
B) Pull them out and donate them. Socks are one of the most needed things. Buy yourself new ones that fit your current personality. Good for your soul, good for your feet, good for needy feet during the season of counting blessings.
I only wear socks in the winter. I wear sandals all summer for as long as I can get away with it. I did laundry yesterday and already missing two socks. I won't wear mismatching even though nobody sees them. A few years ago, I did throw most of my socks in the trash and started over. Some of them were probably 30 years old. I have sock clips and need to clip them together when I take them off. Then I never lose any.

Ya for feeling ready for the week! This is my only 5 day work week of November and I'm not mentally prepared LOL. Although my parents will be with us the second half of the week to care for Busy, but they take care of the grown ups too - so thank god!
QOTD: we had cats growing up, but I'm not really a pet person - don't judge me - I don't hate animals or kick puppies or anything...
I was all over the place this weekend with my eating, especially yesterday so trying to keep it mindful today.
8:30 - coffee, egg bites
11:30 - yogurt with hemp hearts, carrots
2:30 - protein shake, apple
6 - pork loin sheet pan dinner with Brussels sprouts
8:30 - rice cake with PB, walnuts

Seriously, their help as the most amazing gift! I started going to the office half the week last July and they were with us Wednesday-Friday for almost a whole year.

Hi all
weekend was pretty good though i was in a funk. not sure what that was about. hoping today i'm out of it.
I did make the rest of the chicken into crack chicken last night so we had that.
QOTD: we had a black ****er spaniel named prissy. we bred her 2-3 time and kept one of her puppies named buffy. he was a boy not sure why we named him that. anyway this was pre heartworm meds and all eventually got heartworms and died. My dad loved prissy but she would not take crap off kids and would warn us then bite. She also killed my hamster. I accidently left him in the rolly ball and she 'got him out'.
I did make a grocery order for pickup yesterday so we have meals planned.
Today:
b: protein waffle/ coffee
s: yogurt
l: chicken sausage italian style with pasta sauce

Mernin, Happy Monday y'all!
QOTD - My first pet was a Siamese cat named Ashley. I was in kindergarten. He loved the water and would sit on the toilet while I took bubble baths. He was my first love and had so many funny quirks. He was a farter, and he would watch my dad eat, but turn his head as soon as my dad looked at him. He would go in and out but could hook his claws in the screen door and then 'knock' to get back in. I still miss him and think about him to this day.
Breakfast - fasting, so hot black coffee and water
Lunch - no idea, at work, but taking mom to dr appt. I may get a drive-through salad and fries. Dunno.
Dinner - also no idea. Hubs sick with what I still have (bad cold, sore throat) so will def be something fast and warm.
I hope you all have a great day!
Christina
