What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
Mernin errybody, happy Friday!
QOTD - We have smartphones, and google devices throughout the house. That's about it. I don't forsee us going any smarter than that, the house is 100 years old, stone... lol!
Breakfast - fasting, so hot black coffee, water.
Lunch - it's Thanksgiving at work! I made my baked mac and cheese, and the rest...it's all the things you can imagine. I'm fasting till lunch, and then, I'll make delicious choices. Super excited!
Dinner - probably something light, a mint kale smoothie, with oat milk and chia.
I hope you all have a great day!
*edited to add a picture of Harley, today is his official 1 year anniversary of his GOTCHA DAY!

Good morning, everybody!
QOTD: This is timely, because we got the Roku yesterday. We got it set up in about 5 minutes and were able to watch two episodes of Seal Team (with swearing now, Lisa) plus Moneyball. We are thinking about getting rid of cable now, because we only watch a few shows, one of which is now on Paramount +. What we are most concerned about is sports, so we will have to figure that one out before we commit.
I have to take a home COVID test today. They are strongly recommended for my training in Florida next week. I didn't realize that they were nasal swabs until I bought one, but now that I have come this far it seems silly not to go ahead and do the test. I may feel differently once the test starts.
This weekend should be fun. Crossfit this afternoon is a group wide team event and tomorrow is a small team event. Davis Family Winery Chardonnay, from our California trip, is on the menu for Happy Hour tonight. Tomorrow we are going out to watch the Baylor/Oklahoma football game with some OU parents. It's at Buffalo Wild Wings. I have never found anything there that I like to eat. I want to like it, because, sports on TV's, but its always disappointed.
I did go to Gibson's with my youngest last week, Yum! All of sudden he likes seafood. He ordered crab cakes for appetizers and a Sea Bass entry. Finished all of both and took pictures of the Sea Bass to send to his sister. I am trying to convince him that the Halibut we brought back from Alaska is pretty similar to Sea Bass.
Picture from my meet.
Breakfast: Sausage and cottage cheese
Lunch: Hello Fresh
Dinner: Chardonnay and soft cheese
Have a great day, all!

I have cut the cable cord and even with some of the streaming services, I'm still to the good cost wise! I am not 100% because I'm not into sports but I believe there is a package that is espn/hulu/Disney+.

Since I'm out of market I added the NFL Sunday ticket that is outrageous. But for my Ducks I've mostly been able to see them on over the air TV. Since I moved I haven't had anything but my Roku and the digital antenna, and I did subscribe to Sling first month for $10 to get the Sunday night Football- of course not included on the NFL Sunday Ticket.
With all of the apps I subscribe to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and HBO Max and there is usually something I want to watch, I do miss some of the shows I used to watch but not enough to pay for them. If you like old stuff try the Roku App I've been watching the original Alfred Hitch**** series, tons of fun. I might add ESPN+ to the Disney and dump Sling-but I did get caught up on the Walking Dead. I do miss my DVR, but I've gotten over it.
