Oh I am so angry for you JB! It sounds like those nurses and such have no kind of bed side manors. What butt heads. I am so sorry you're dealing with such people.

I've been dealing with a bad arc of pain. I started keeping a pain journal on the 1st and so far the lowest number has been nine. It looks to be a nine kind of day at least today. I've got to try something else for pain relief. I see my pain management clinic tomorrow. I'll also be asking about a second opinion possibility. I've been so stressed out.

Not much planned for the day. I think my mom will want to go to the thrift store(she gets a 25% discount on Tuesday and Friday).

You can't find frozen pie crusts here. I'm making a Virginia peanut pie(think pecan pie but with peanuts) for my uncle(for Thanksgiving) and I don't feel like making pie crust. Thankfully they had the pie crust rounds around the biscuit area. We've gotten just about everything we need. I need regular peanut butter and a package of cream cheese. I also think I need another GF cornbread mix. I may look up a recipe for that though instead. I'm going to make a peanut butter pie for the kids. A cheesecake for my mom. Of course a pumpkin pie. I may make a pumpkin dump cake type thing. It would make two separate ones...one for the regular folks and a GF and egg free one for me. Time will tell.

QOTD: hmm it's been a little while. I think it would be the ornaments I made with the kids pictures. Nothing remarkable...just clear plastic round ornaments with confetti type stuff and the pictures inside. I will be looking for a stick to make sun catchers for my mom and aunt today. I've got the beads and strong fishing line.

Food is totally unplanned
