I do a lot of studying and research online. I use MS Edge and the read aloud feature to make it easier. It will work on most Edge screens. Just right click the cursor and pick read aloud.
One thing that amazed me when I started helping people do their taxes online was when a blind person would call for help. The assistive technologies are amazing.
i completed an online degree back in 2005 and learned to use screen readers to cut down on eye strain. Back then they were not built in and I paid for apps that read my screen out loud.

Hysterical? Now, that strikes me as funny. Did they give you any indication as to how long it will take for your eyesight to return to your new normal?
QOTD: Creative? I haven't found an outlet to express my creativity in a while. Years ago, I used to work at a promotion agency in which being creative was part of the job.

The doctor said it might be months before I can see clearly! That was NOT in the brochure.

Seriously? Months? Something does not seem right. My husband had a customized version of Lasik done over 5 years ago and within a week his sight was almost perfect. He had horrible sight like 20/40 in one eye and 20/50 in the other. Now his sight is 20/30 in one and 20/20 in the other and holding strong.
Oh hey... long time no see...
I don't even know where to start, so I'll skip the backstory and just say I could use some support and accountability and here I am!
QOTD: sadly I haven't had the mental capacity for much creative work lately, even my beloved knitting - not to mention my little Busy Beaz likes to pull on my yarn way too much.
JB - start getting that fluid in now! Hope your booster doesn't cause too many side effects (I was just sore and tired with mine - knock on wood).
8:30: coffee, egg bites
11:30: yogurt with chia seeds
2:30: protein shake, apple, pb
