So excited to hear that the Antartica trip is a GO! I want to see a million pictures of you posing with penguins ;)

too bad you'll be quarantining while you're in Santiago....we really liked that city!! I thought it'd be a great place to live if I ever wanted to be an ex-pat (well, that would also involve learning Spanish - and the Chilean version to boot (which even gives people proficient in Spanish pause...))

Trish, I've been to Santiago and found it very likable as well. The geography reminded me of California.

I used to work across Latin America so have spent a lot of time in Santiago. It's beautiful, I'd consider Valparaiso if I was going to expat in Chile though. Loved it there.

I loved Valparaiso, too. And I LOVE the coast!! We were staying with friends in Santiago who had a beach house on the coast, not far from Valpo - we spent the September holidays at their beach house. Fabulous!!

Hmmm I am seeing Van Gogh in December. I hope it is the same one. Your Antarctica trip seems amazing. I was jelly yesterday knowing you have seen a real live Puffin. But now a penguin in the wild. I got to find a travel partner to do these things with. DH hates to travel.

I think one is called Van Gogh Alive and one is Immersive Van Gogh, I know people that have been to both and loved both so either way you can't go wrong!

The one I have tickets for is definitely the Immersive.
