Trish, I've been to Santiago and found it very likable as well. The geography reminded me of California.

I used to work across Latin America so have spent a lot of time in Santiago. It's beautiful, I'd consider Valparaiso if I was going to expat in Chile though. Loved it there.

Hmmm I am seeing Van Gogh in December. I hope it is the same one. Your Antarctica trip seems amazing. I was jelly yesterday knowing you have seen a real live Puffin. But now a penguin in the wild. I got to find a travel partner to do these things with. DH hates to travel.

I think one is called Van Gogh Alive and one is Immersive Van Gogh, I know people that have been to both and loved both so either way you can't go wrong!
