What's on your Monday Menu?
I haven't been in quite awhile. I think at this point I will just read a book and let the kids ski.

Mornin' All!
well I was planning to go to my (now) usual Monday morning Aqua Zumba class, but it's supposed to get up to 66 degrees F today, and it's sunny and not windy, so I think I'll take a long bike ride instead. It'll probably be spring before we get weather like this again... Other than that, not much on the agenda for today.
JB - DH had LASIK probably at least 15 years ago. His vision was bad the day of (and he was worried), but by the next morning, it was fine. I hope they can "fix" the problem. That is awful!
eating seems to be back under control the last couple of days. Whew. Now...to keep this up! I'd love to lose 10 lbs - but if I can at least avoid gaining any weight over the holiday season, I'll be happy.
QOTD: I rarely watch the same movie twice, although I've seen some Hitch**** movies twice. Well, there are a few others - like "Citizen Kane", too.
B: vanilla skyr with raspberries, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake (actually, probably a pumpkin latte with some protein powder thrown in)

Good morning all and Happy Monday!
QJB: sorry you can't see clearly right now. I don't know anything about Lasik but I hope there's a correction in your future.
I went to the eye doctor recently and my vision declined more than normal in the last year. However, the optometrist said it was nothing of concern. I'm waiting for my new glasses to arrive before I go to the DMV to take a vision test to renew my license.
QOTD: I also like the Hitch**** suite of movies; My favorite may be The Birds. I also have a fondness for Stanley Kubrick movies even though those movies aren't that old. Another favorite movie is Citizen Kane.
B: Dannon light and fit coconut yogurt, TJ cold brew, sf vanilla, stevia
L: Egg roll in a bowl, green beans
D: maybe chicken salad
S: turkey pepperoni and light string cheese

Good Morning QJB and Menuers.
So sorry your having problems with the Lasik. I hope it is an easy fix and they get it straightened out today.
I had a lovely weekend and it looks like there is a warm spell coming this week. My runs may not be as cold as last week. Doesn't matter either way I will still be out there God willing. I have a few things on my calendar this week like Bible study, Haircut, manicure, and I volunteered to help for a Men's breakfast social at the church on Saturday. I have a feeling this week is going to fly by.
Oh one more thing just incase no one else has said this to you today, I hate Day light savings time.
QOTD: I love an old movie called The Fighting Sullivan's. About the brothers that were in the service serving in the same ship and all of them were killed in the line of duty. The government made a law because of it and now siblings are not aloud to sever along side each other.
Accountability: There were some drinks and a few snacks (peperoni roll) and tortilla chips and street corn dip at bingo. I also had an Asian slaw with ramen and a bite of lemon cheesecake yesterday.

actually, this is standard time....we just got off daylight saving time. There are things I hate about both (e.g., I hate it being dark in the morning when I get up - but now it's not anymore!!), but then, I hate it being dark at 5:00 pm, too. Ugh. But more than anything, i don't like the switch back and forth between the two. This just seems like a big pain, even though I guess it really isn't. But I always dread the change..
The Fighting Sullivans were my cousins. When I was growing up my mother told us that because of the Sullivans, the government could not force all of my brothers to enlist during a war. That was not true. They could all have be forced to enlist, but must serve in different places.
