I like the turning into your parents commercial, where they struggle to pronounce Quinoa.

That is a great idea!!! I don't eat much rice, so I am always looking for alternatives and I think cauliflower rice would be too wet!

I've used cauli rice a 1000 ways. It works if you precook/thaw first and wring out the water in a towel.

Good morning, everyone!

My flight changed so that I detoured through Las Vegas. I hadn't been there in about 8 years, so it was surprising to see the slot machines in the airport. They had them in the Reno airport as well. I didn't play any - no ****tail waitresses, no interest for me.

it was interesting to read Chrissy and Jen's different perspectives on being an individual contributor vs. a leader of people. My role is a bit of a combination of both. I enjoy the mentoring and teaching aspects of the people leader role, but not the administration aspect.

Working in a larger organization, the mask and vaccine policies are not optional except in certain defined cir****tances (medical, etc.) what is optional is where people work, so most of our employees are still remote.

Chrissy and Lisa I would be surprised if both of your companies don't qualify as government contractors, and have requirements.

QOTD: Not this year.

meals will be light today. They have Ruth Chris in the hotel complex and that looks good for Friday night once I finish lifting.

Have a great day, all!

We are subs, and only employ 14 people, so we fall under the minimum requirement in almost all cases, both at the federal and state level. If it was up to me, it would be mandatory. But that's my opinion and so only applies to my body. But I'm frustrated their lack of compliance puts my family at greater exposure. Mostly, I am concerned that one of us will bring home a break through case to one of my grandkids. Even though kids mostly do well with it, I would prefer they not have to experience being sick with Covid at all. The adults in our family are all vaccinated and very healthy. Though I do limit my exposure to risk when I plan on seeing my elderly dad. Just as an added precaution.

Good morning ~ What better way to celebrate than tacos? Yesterday, work was crazy all day long. I don't remember eating lunch or what I ate for diner or going to bed even! It was stressful, but the steady sweet spot of stress where I actually thrive and don't get overwhelmed. Problem solving all day long. Slept great and feel great today. Today is follow up/catch up - I have lots to do. If I can get away, I may go get tacos for lunch!

QOTD - Baking, yes! I'm not crafty in the least.

B- coffee, built protein bar

l-RG chicken burrito bowl or el pastor taco innards

d- meatballs, sauce and cheese

s-jerky, HB egg

Have a great day ya'll

Instead I did my workout which did help me feel a bit better. the weather is dreary, gray and rainy today which makes me feel tired. I need the sunshine!
