What's on your Thursday Menu?

Hey Everyone! It's my Friday! And I don't have to go back to work for a whole week :) :) :) Whee! I am so excited about my LASIK tomorrow. All of my friends and family seem so worried about it on my behalf, but I am not at all, for some reason. I mean, I really hope I don't go blind, but I have no time to waste worrying about it.
I think I handled the passive aggressive thing at work well, yesterday. I was inordinately worried about how it was all going to play out at the staff meeting, but I have to say, I think it went really really well!
QOTD: Will you be making any homemade gifts for the holidays? I have grand plans to do lots of cute crafts and baking but I am not sure I will have the time to do what I envisioned. I hope I will be able to get through a lot of things next week! I swear that the second I finished building the craft room I never had time to use it... isn't that always the way?
I had Halloween candy again yesterday... :/
B: Protein Coffee
S: Egg & Cheese Wrap
L: Cranberry Chicken Salad & Pretzels
S: Balanced Break
D: I think I am going to insist that we go out for some celebratory last-day-of-work-before-vacation-tacos tonight!

Good mornin everyone.
Nothing much planned for the day. I have to pick up prescriptions and I'm going to make some GF muffins. I do need to go to Walmart to get some things I forgot to get Monday. We may do it tomorrow...we'll see.
I'm not feeling real great. My sleep has just been so so crappy. I don't think the pain med is really helping much. It seems to help for an hour or so after it's dissolved and then it's back to the way it was before. I see the pain management clinic next Wednesday so I'm hoping to get something else. Tylenol 4's helped more than them.
QOTD: I'm going to make some sun catchers for my aunt and mom. Think wind chime look but with beads. I might've work some solar lights into it. I'm going to bake some things too. Usually I'd make some chainmaille items but my brain is to foggy to do it right.
B: just egg, cheese, tiny slice of fruit cake and coffee
L: GF chicken tenders, GF slice of bread and a slice of cheese
D: ???
S: protein puffs, turkey lunch meat and ???

Yesterday was my Friday as I have today and tomorrow off, but I have a bunch of things to do around the house so not really off from working. We have to move the pigs to the new pen, finish picking the peppers and close up the garden. Then the weekend we have to do the last two trips to New York for the rest of the hay for Winter.
JB you are going to be fine with the Lasik and so happy afterwards. My husband had a type of specialized Lasik done almost 10 year ago and it made a world of difference. It was a very fast procedure.
QOTD: Not really sure if I'll make anything or just buy something small.
Not sure what I'll be doing for food today. I do know have to stop eating things I shouldn't be even after I plan out my meals.

Funny, I absolutely don't think about lasik as a thing to worry about; but I also don't believe in worrying about medical things until there is a specific thing to worry about. By Saturday you will be asking yourself why you waited so long.
For next week are you OFF or just WFH? My next day off is the day before thanksgiving; it's always so busy it never feels like a break. I will be off and home between Christmas and New Years so that should be good. I did take half a day off on Monday because our Van Gogh tickets were so hard to get we're at 3pm on a Monday afternoon....but so many meetings have been scheduled I'm working right up until 2:30.
I like the balanced breaks, my sister calls them my adult luncheable.
QOTD - no, I'm not very crafty.
Menu - I'm really struggling with dinner plans this week and have no desire to shop
Coffee plus half and half X 3
Ozery PB toast
smoked cheddar slices and pistachios
Dinner - tbd
Have a terrific Thursday - FriYAY is just over the horizon.

Mornin' All!
I LOVE the meme!
I wouldn't worry about going blind. That's a really safe procedure - I don't know the odds, but I've personally never heard or read of anyone going blind from it. It's probably one so those one in a million chances. Even better odds of pulling through unscathed than WLS!
I'm feeling really stressed this morning for no good reason. Not sure what's up with this. I can't think of anything that's bothering me, but my body is definitely feeling like it's in flight or fight mode. If it was warm outside, I'd go out on my bike for an hour or two to work it off - but, it's cold. Boo. I guess I can do a youtube cardio video or something.
so that big weight gain yesterday? Gone today. I'm down 3 lbs since yesterday. Not sure what that was all about - I guess water. Too bad that was both the date and day I record my weight (I record every Wednesday in myfitnesspal, and record once a month - on the 3rd (my surgery date) - on a spreadsheet).
in other news, my cat goes in for his ophthalmology appt today. He has a superficial ulcer that's taking FOREVER to heal. She's going to do some procedure that's supposed to speed things up - I think roughen his cornea so the cells will stick to it better. We'll see...
QOTD: nope - I'm not crafty at all - and we haven't done holiday gift exchanges for a couple of years (we're all over 50 except for my niece - so we're trying to get RID of stuff - not accumulate more!)
B: plain skyr with 1/2 cooked diced apple and a squirt of Cary's SF "maple" syrup. Coffee with half & half.
MS: protein shake
L: chickpea/miso sandwich with tomato and cucumber slices
AS: protein muffin
D: crab cake with homemade tartar sauce, cabbage blend (frozen vegetable combo thing from Aldi's)
have a great day, everyone!
Happy Thursday all!
Good luck on your lasik procedure, here's hoping it all goes smoothly.
QOTD: no homemade gifts for me. However, I do write my mother a long, heartfelt note on the card. I found that she appreciates that more than the gift.
Today is my free day. I am thinking of going to Starbucks and chilling for an hour. I don't really have any plans otherwise.
B: Dannon light and fit coconut yogurt and a banana
L: Greenridge farm naturals deli ham
D: 2 chicken skewers and broccoli
S: sf bomb pop
HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.
