What's on your Wednesday Menu?

Happy Wednesday! I am pretty psyched that I only have today and tomorrow left this week. It's been a tough week already, and my crystal ball tells me that today is going to test all of my emotional limits. I have some employees that have been carrying a grudge for years and years (long before I was even worked here) but they have been flexing their dissatisfaction with some passive aggressive behavior. Passive aggressive is my least favorite personality trait...
I am also happy to report that all of the local elections I followed closely came out with the results I wanted. I had two friends who ran for offices and won (yay!) and the Boston Mayor's race had a fantastic result (the mayor is ultimately my boss so I am excited!).
QOTD: What has been making you laugh? I got my mammogram results back and read it out loud to Grim. It read, "Your breasts are not dense" and we have been making a million jokes about how wicked smart my boobs are. Yes we are 12.
Food was okay yesterday. I was not as ravenously hungry as the day before but I also indulged in a few pieces of Halloween candy around the office.
B: Protein Coffee
S: Egg & Cheese Wrap
L: Cranberry Chicken Salad & Pretzels
S: Greek Yogurt
D: ?? I will be home very late tonight and I suspect I won't feel like cooking but I don't know what I will do yet.

Good morning, everybody!
Up early because I am flying this morning. Hopefully, that will translate into a nap on the plane.
It's starting to get cold, and with that, it's dawning on me that I won't be in Florida this winter. Boo! But my youngest needs to finish school and make his college decision this year, so it just didn't make sense. The process has been going well, he is accepted to a couple and got a scholarship offer yesterday.
We have been making a number of organizational changes at work. People call me to ask my reaction and its a struggle to have any reaction at all. Mostly I feel like a short timer.
QOTD: I have been laughing about this assistant football coach at University of Texas. He left his family to take up with this exotic dancer who calls herself the Pole Assassin. Apparently she has an emotional support monkey, which also performs with her. Well it turns out that her pet primate bit a trick or treater on Halloween (allegedly) and now they are in ho****er. Seems like Karma.
Meals are up in the air because I will be traveling, but suffice to say not a lot because I have to make weight on Friday afternoon before I lift.
Have a great day, all!

The Baylor kids love to laugh at Texas. I'm sure the TTU folks out your way do as well.

This is a weightlifting competition, right? My cousin is on the national weightlifting team for Australia and headed to the commonwealth championships in Uzbekistan soon. It's very exciting.

Yes, but old person weightlifting. I'm sure your cousin doesn't even warm up with what my heaviest lifts are.
