What's on your Wednesday Menu?

Good morning everyone and happy Wednesday. It's a rainy day in the PNW. I am home today.
I'm typing this out on my phone as the Mac has died and I'm trying to figure out what I want to buy to replace it.
I had my 5 year WLS appointment Monday. All my labs look great, except my ferritin is at a 16. The range is 15-300. My doctor said it's fine because it's "in range". This is so frustrating. I also increased my bone density, which makes me happy. She congratulated me on my continued success of my weight loss. She stated that many people 5 years out have considerable weight regain. I told her that the OH boards have helped me tremendously, so thank you to all of you. I'm still not where I want to be, but I have faith that I will get there. I need to remember how far I have come.
QOTD- Nope, not a movie theater person, even before pandemic.
QJB- I need to block that person too. At first I thought her posts were a joke. Who has frozen margaritas for breakfast??
Food for today-
Leftover cold Thai food stir fry
shredded chicken with pico
Halibut and broccoli
No cheese!! I must resist the cheese. It's just too calorie dense for me.
I'm going to get out for a walk, even if it's raining. I think some puddle jumping would be good for my soul. 2 people that I know passed away last week, unexpectedly. I want to live and just not be if that makes any sense.
Have a great day everyone and go something that makes you smile.
Marilyn's Ferritin is lower and she's not a WLS patient, it may be age more than the surgery.

Normally women do not have a lot of problems once they are past menopause. I was anemi****il I had a hysterotomy. When I had weight loss surgery, they did not think I would need iron supplements. It stayed great for about 10 years then went way down. Now I get an infusion about every other year.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Great job on keeping your weight off for 5 years. As part of my job I retrieve data on WLS patients, so many of them have either failed to lose weight or had weight regain. It does scare me and make me take note that this is a life long process. Be proud of your accomplishments.

G'morning all!
Well well well, I go away for one day and all heck breaks loose. Reading the posts in response to you-know-who's Monday menu looks like a school yard brawl. She went after QJB and the rest of the kids formed a force shield around her. She thrives on attention and with that post she received as many responses as she has ever received to any of her past posts. Let's hope she gets zero interaction to any future posts so that she calms down. But jeez louis her stories are getting wilder and wilder by the minute.
QOTD: nope and not planning to for now.
My meals yesterday
- B: coffee
- L: chomp stick + 2 hb eggs
- S: pear + Parm cheese
- D: the innards of street tacos X 3
- E: 30 minutes cardio + 60 minutes weight training
Happy hump day!
