What's on your Wednesday Menu?

Good morning, everybody!

Don't worry, JB, I'm sure it was just the stress of being anchored off of Cuba with two new families, a recent met fiancee, and an 8 month old squirming on the floor towards the toilet in order to poop, all the while trying to manage a career as a rockstar/designer/celebrity chef. You know how tough that is. Oldest story in the book.

How is everyone's leaf situation? Ours is a disaster. I think that I need to get out with a rake this weekend or break down and pay somebody to do it because our yard is covered in leaves. Marilyn's Dad usually would do it to keep him busy while he was watching our son last month and he didn't. I have no expectation that he does our yard work for us, but it worries me a little that he he wasn't feeling well and wouldn't say so.

The OH icon on my phone has switched to the VSG page. If I was on that page it was a mistake, and couldn't have been more than 1% of all of my OH visits. Now I don't want to encourage it by using the wrong icon, so I have to keep typing Obesity Help into my browser. For some reason, our home computer default's to Amy's profile page, which would be cool, except it's private.

Headed into the office today to pretend that I am onboard with re-opening.

QOTD: Pretty similar to KalesD. Haven't made it in yet, but not for any particular reason. I've been to three concerts and a football game.

we used to have a ton of leaves in the fall, but we were just talking yesterday about how there aren't many any more - esp in the front yard. But then, we've had three trees taken out over the last 10 years or so...(they were dying) so...duh! I don't miss all the leaves AT ALL!

We had all of the trees replaced in our boardwalk because of some invasive insect, but we still have a ton of leaves.

Holy crap your posts always give a much needed giggle!

We haven't had a freeze this season yet...since we are so windy they get blown down the street. All our trees are elms and they have tiny leaves anyway.

It has been many years since I saw an elm tree in Ohio. They were all wiped out with Dutch Elm disease back in the 1950's and before that. They used to be one of my favorite trees to collect fall leaves from.

Ours are on their last hurrah. Our house was built in 46 and they were planted then. It sure is sad to see trees go no matter what.

Our leaves aren't too bad yet. We have only had a few windy days so far.

Leaves are just starting to drop now in Pittsburgh and DH just mows them on a mulch setting and they go away. + We have a neighbor that is obsessives compulsive about his lawn I think he rakes ours in the middle of the night so we do not know.
