Good morning ~ Real food for the win! I hope you have an amazing and relaxing weekend on your new couch, QJB! Today I'm off work at noon, getting a manicure and then meeting my son and his girlfriend for lunch. Tomorrow we are golfing in the morning, I'm gym/swimming in the afternoon and not much else. Sunday we may hit the local dive around the corner for morning football and a Bloody Mary. The kiddo is coming over in the afternoon and I'm taking him shopping for some work clothes. Maybe BBQ + chill.

QOTD - No, I never take a lunch break unless I am going out to eat. My department is exempt from having to take a lunch, so no one does, ever. We all eat at our desk while working.

Good morning! Wow the weather up here. It stormed all night long and for a while the wind was so strong I started looking for Toto and a bike! We got locked out of the RV last night for an hour. The locking system glitched and we had to wait for Triple A. I was cold, but it was dry out so I survived. I was however all tucked in between the bikes and the RV because the cover on the bikes is wind and rain resistant. Gave me some relief from the wind. Yesterday was a very low key day, but I got in a good walk with a steep incline. We ate leftovers during the day, and went for Chinese for dinner. Pretty good and we have tons of leftovers so that's lunch today. Oh, and I added a glass of wine after we got back in the rig. My husband said we earned it and I said I needed it to warm me from the inside out. Today we head off for Healdsburg and wine country. We are stopping at the Peanuts museum along the way. Should be adorable. Our friends should arrive late this afternoon so the balance of the weekend is going to be wine/dine and lots of conversations. Looking forward to it. I will need to work hard to get some power walking in to counter the calories. Three days there and then we start the trip back home.
QoTD: No. I rarely leave my desk. I start at 6 am and end at 4. If we are really busy, I will start at 4 am-ish, but I always leave at four pm for my family time. Nobody misses me in the early morning. For me, if I concentrate only on my food, I wolf it down. I'm better at going slow if I am distracted by other tasks. So apparently Sheila, I am a rule breaker!

I have so many photos I want to share, but I'm going to try and keep it to a few.
1st up. Me and my bucket list item. Doing the 17 Mile Drive on my bike. Id do it over and over again if I lived in the area!

Then our location in Monterey (near Sheila), me doing my part to help the economy recover, my travel buddies, my Niece in San Fran and look how gorgeous the fountain at Ghiradelli Square is done up!

That Ghirardelli square is my happy place, going into Ghirardelli store and smelling the chocolate...aaah! Almost feels like going to Sugarplum's sweet shop on Diagon Alley.
