There were a number of other rooms that were very different, but I loved this room; it was the most fanciful and colorful.

Cool pics - totally agree with Sheila about your smile!

I forgot about the green chili chicken - adding the stuff to my shopping list right now.

Good Morning! Happy Fri-yay! We should have a pretty relaxing weekend with not much going on. I'm looking forward to some crochet time.

Mornin' All!

I'm going to Aqua Zumba in about a half hour - and then have to take one of the cats to a follow-up vet appt this afternoon. Otherwise the usual - catching up on reading for my classes. This weekend we plan to go to one of the women's hockey games at the university (they always play two - usually on a Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun - against the same team. I guess it's a hockey thing??). Nothing else big in the works.

QOTD: well, since i retired, no. But when I worked, I tried to get away from my desk for lunch if at all possible, because I know I needed the mental break. An hour would have been a lot, though -that was usually just when I was meeting someone for lunch. Usually it was 20-30 minutes. I really appreciated my last boss who purposely took a lunch break every day and always tried to leave the office around 5:00 pm, meaning she was typically putting in a 40-50 hour work week. Granted, for all I know, she could have been putting in more hours at home, but I think she wanted to model a healthy work/life balance for the rest of us. I really admire her for that. The boss I had before always ate at his desk and worked ungodly hours, so those of us who worked closely with him felt we had to do that as well, so we did. I felt guilty if I took a lunch break or left the office at or before 5:00. That's a terrible feeling - and a terrible work/life balance. Of course, there were times of the year when we had to do that to meet some deadline - but as a "normal" thing, it wasn't very healthy.

B: protein muffin, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: pumpkin yogurt topped with 2 T granola. May swirl some tahini in that or have a piece of peanut butter toast with it (For the fat...)

AS: probably yogurt with raspberries

D: 1/2 Beyond Burger on 1/2 a slim bun. "Veggie bites" or some kind of vegetable medley

have a great day, everyone!

Good morning and happy Friday! My Mac computer is dying, so I am typing this on my phone.

Queen JB- I feel your meme 100%! I see my WLS doctor on Monday and I'm hoping to lose 10 lbs this weekend.?

Not much planned for this weekend. I have a hair appointment this morning. It's going to rain all weekend, so my goal is to organize my guest room.

QOTD- I never stop for lunch at work. I usually have a protein shake or eat on the run.

Food for today

2 eggs, cottage cheese

protein shake, chomps

baked halibut, broccoli

Lots of water and hot tea, no wine!

Good morning y'all, and happy FF Friday!

QOTD - I do take my lunch hour. It's built into my day. I get here at 8, I leave at 5, every single day. I have worked the 50-60 hour weeks, not taken PTO, worked through breaks and lunches and it really got me nowhere but stressed. Now, I take my PTO, take my breaks, take my lunches, and I am happier, and just as productive if not more. I get out of my office, take a walk, get food with my husband or coworkers and then, go back refreshed. I have to.

Breakfast - fasting, so hot black coffee and water

Lunch - trying a new sandwich place nearby, veggie sammie for me

Dinner - not sure, someplace out because I am not cooking.

*Pictures of Sith cheerleaders I mentioned below. If I dress up this year for Halloween, I will use my costume. I'm not in these photos, this was a couple of years before I joined but these show you how the costumes look and can be personalized. I love these ladies, this is from the San Antonio chapter.
