Good morning from San Francisco. Our view here is incredible, but the actual park is pretty bad. May pull up stakes and leave a day early. I got to visit with my niece last night and that was wonderful. Will again tonight. She's the main reason we stopped here on our way to wine country. I did much better on food choices yesterday and am feeling a bit more myself. I also got to do the 17 Mile Drive on my bike yesterday! Bucket list check off. It was gorgeous and so much fun. We sort of cheated and went only halfway and turned around and came back. The back half is all house (like you can't even imagine. Unbelievable) and I really love the crashing ocean, so we just looped back. A total of 15 miles. My calves are protesting a bit this morning. I'm going to have a zillion pictures for Friday, so I apologize in advance.

QoTD: I do not dress up. But we have a zillion kids come on our street so it's a super fun night. Somebody at Costco actually tried to tease me about how much candy I was buying. They were like, sure lady, sure that's for Halloween... I said we get like 400 children at our door and they were big eyed and said whoa. It's a huge night on our street and we love being in the front yard passing out candy. Lots of the neighbors do super involved decorating and interactions so we've got a pirate ship on one side and a Freddy Kruger on another and a Haunted maze across the street. Total insanity.

Those are the best neighborhoods!! My brother lives in one like that so every year I would take my son there. All the neighbors went all out and had open houses with tons of food - so much fun!

That sounds like so much fun. I am hoping for a ton of trick or treaters!

I agree with avoiding sweets and candy like Jim said. I have allowed myself a square of chocolate or 1 Hershey's kiss but I think I need to be disciplined to avoid those types of sweets/foods that are not planned. For example, if I have a square of chocolate on my "free" calorie day I doesn't bother me since I do allow myself more calories (within reason). But if I do it on a non-"free" day it makes me feel like I am starting down a rocky path. I just don't want to get in the habit of freely grabbing treats and foods that haven't been planned. I do allow myself grace but I know from my past behaviors that these little "treats" can create bad habits.

QOTD: I am thinking about dressing up. I haven't done it since I was a kid but now that I can find costumes that fit I might. DD and I are doing a Halloween 5K that encourages the participants to dress up. I think there is also some trick or treating involved, so I think we should..

B: Triple zero greek yogurt with collagen added, cold brew with half n half and caramel drizzle

L: 1/2 c Taco casserole

S: PP with 1 c grapes

D: oven fried tilapia with yogurt tarter sauce, 1/2 c roasted veggies

S: 100 cal kettle popcorn

E: 30 min yoga, 30 min walk

Well ... I?m wearing a handkerchief top ( literally a napkin / scarf just covering my breasts ) and white bell bottom pants and super high seventies platform shoes to my friends party . Very studio 54 :)

I curled my hair outwards in a Farrah Fawcett retro do .... I actually look and smell pretty great ( Jo Jo Malone cologne .... Crazy expensive but organic and a gift from an admirer ( date to said party ... We'll see how it goes )

But honestly I?m a little scared of modern marijuana backflow .... which is totally enuf to put someone inexperienced like myself on their ass unable to move ( happened 2 m before)

Also the baby situation.... I'm pretty crazy and hormonal and afraid 2 leave them with a paid stranger ) .

They're sleeping peacefully under the down comforter like little angels with the Persian *****hillas on top watching over them ... for at least a month they've both slept calmly thru the night so really no worries but I'm still the Mommy .... But I'm gonna go ....

Today's food was a lunch special of eggplant , shrimp spicy no fat garlic sauce( no oil ) chicken soup and an egg roll ( 1/3 eaten. Threw the rest out .... Can't stand the smell dinner was Mac n cheese ( mostly for the kids ... and they wouldn't eat it ... the catz however found it delightful lol . )

I expect 2 drink wine tonite but nothing else .... Sugary ****tails make me sick .

Boyfriend said I looked shockingly gorgeous cleaned up ( which pretty much means I?m a pig normally )

We had a Great time dancing like Saturday Night Fever ( made in my neighborhood by the way .... I?ve been to the actual club a half dozen times before they tore it down ) ... and he says he doesn?t dance lol! He even did some decades - later beat box moves so obviously he was lying.... but I kept up with him :)

Kidz were still asleep when we got home .

He says his little boy talks about me all the time .. and wants to spend more time together... like every day after school.

Baby boy six years old is picking out a Disney movie a day for the tiny babies to watch and hugging them ... and they all fall asleep together in their pajamas like dominoes lol. So cute ! They?re all starting to hug now all the time... the little grrlz really look up to him .

Boyfriend wants to try the next step .... moving in together with all the babies and pets .

And plants I guess and oh my ... like I?m totally overwhelmed.
hoping to get out to the grocery today . Cats need cat food babiez need formula . Me .... I?m hoping for some lowfat tzaziki ... chicken parm.... salad.

Well we sailed 2 Cuba. we walked the malencon ... turns out he's Cuban and South American... what a surprise! He speaks perfect Spanish and Portuguese too .

. And we're driving about three hours to his familys ex estate... a mango papaya and banana and pineapple plantation .... where he imagines we're going to be greeted eagerly and actually stay overnight in some derelict plantation building.
so basically really much extremely scary .
