yes - you're right - there are a couple of others - they aren't regulars so I can't remember who at the moment, but they do pop in occasionally (there have been a few more in the five or so years I've been on the thread - but some I haven't seen in quite awhile)

Jim is. I'm in Madison, WI, but my father was from Chicago, so we go down there a lot (or did pre-pandemic, anyway). I have several cousins there - plus sometimes the two of us just go down and have fun (without visiting cousins), too. My cousins are in Arlington Heights, Wheaton, Elmhurst, and Chicago itself (in the Loop)

QOTD- No costumes, but I love Halloween. Where I'm now living I can't do all the decorations I did at my old house. But all of the decorations went to my roommate so maybe he can carry on the tradition.

Monday was moving day, and it was truly horrible. The guys that I hired on Uhaul moving helpers were awful. When I packed everything up I labeled each box with which room it was supposed to go in. They basically just dumped most of them in the living room and dining room. So I was living in an episode of hoarders, I couldn't even walk through most of the rooms. They were supposed to start at 8AM I finally heard from them at 9:44AM and they didn't show up here until after 2PM. So instead of working yesterday I unpacked a bunch of stuff. I also got my TV mounted on the wall. Now I have to figure out what to do for service. I'm thinking DirectTV for the streaming since I can't put a dish here.

I'm thinking that I need to add A/C to the room I'm using as an office. It appears to be the warmest one in the condo. Last night I left the door closed and the window open and it was much better. I can't get to the window in the other bedroom so I wasn't able to open it up. The only rooms with A/C are the living room and the master bedroom. I really thought that I didn't bring too much stuff but I did, so now I just need to figure out how to deal with it.

I found both of my scales and the news was good. 168.4lbs and BMI of 28.4 since I didn't have a scale for so long I was worried, but I'm not far from my lowest weight I had posted and I have lost any muscle mass. So I'm happy.

Now if I could just wiggle my nose and all of this would magically be put away....
