Good morning! Brrrrrrr it's cold this morning. A brisk 42 where we are at. We are up early and hoping to be ready to pull out of this campground in an hour or two. Our camp host helped us possibly figure out a plan for us to park the RV and ride our bikes on the 17 Mile Drive. And I need it. I made baaaaad choices yesterday. And some bad purchases that I don't need in the RV. Yet here they are. A good 20+ mile bike ride today will help offset the damage of vacation eating and drinking. From there, we are on to San Francisco for three days. After we get set up and hot showers we have a dinner date with my niece who lives in San Francisco. An evening fraught with bad choice opportunities. Say a little prayer for me!

QoTD: Also mustard yellow and pinks.

Menu

B: hb egg and cottage cheese to power me thru the ride. Beef jerky mid way.

L: no idea

D: Italian place, so I usually do meat balls. But we are having ****tail hour before dinner, and there will be cheeses. At this point of the trip, I fear I am turning into a cheese!

Peace Everyone!

G'morning all!

I'm gonna write this here for accountability. After I came back from Italy I had gained about 2 lbs which kinda went away after about a week. For my trip to DC and San Diego to visit the kids I told myself not to stress about the food and just go with the flow. On Sat I finally got on the scale and to my surprise I was still hovering around 145. So here is my deal, it's just a number but I'd like to reach my ultimate goal of 140-142 that I reached for just a second 2 years after surgery. I'm chipping at this wall of 145 with hopes that I can lose a couple of lbs before all the holiday craziness starts. Although I gotta say Halloween is a bigger and more difficult holiday for me than thanksgiving. I will measure my success in oz and my sig ticker is up to date.

Today I have an eye appt, just a yearly check up. And this afternoon I have a "walk" with my trainer. I put it in "" because her walk is my jog. It's just a catch up and see where I am and my immediate and long term goals. I need to tell her that Lisa indirectly complimented her when she said she liked my arms. I'm scared to tell her about my goal of 140-142 because she will ramp up the exercises to keep my heart rate up and I hate that; like the infamous week of 100 burpees.

QOTD: RED! I have red shoes, red blazer, red shawl, red tops and some mixed print red dresses. My absolute first car (a fiat panda) was red. And my last two cars have been red. I guess I kinda like red!

My meals yesterday

  • B: coffee
  • L: egg bites + 2 cauliflower thins
  • S: barebells bar
  • D: TJ chicken fajita
  • E: 10K jog

Happy taco Tue!

Good morning ~ YES! Happy Taco Tuesday - That meme is happening tonight! Well, after the gym and just the innards but still looking forward to dinner! Yesterday the power went out on our block at about 7am. The wind had snapped a power line that was on a pole in the backyard (yes! backyard?) of a house 2 doors down. What a production. You should have seen this MASSIVE crane and all the stabilizers they needed to pull the old pole out and lift it over a house and put a new pole in - it was pretty cool. The block was shut down and literally covered with PG&E trucks and crew. It took all day. We finally got power back around 7:30 last night and they didn't clear out until about 9pm. I can only imagine how much $ that cost to fix, never mind the overtime.

QOTD - BLUE, hands down blue, blue, blue is my happy color. I love ALL the shades. I wanted a blue car, but I couldn't find one this time around. Next time!

b-egg bites, coffee

l-chicken bites

d-carnitas taco salad, yes a margarita

Hello Everyone,

I didn't realize so many people like the color yellow as their favorite! It is a pretty color and very cheerful. DD, DD friend and I had a enjoyable time at the cabin. it was a short and quick trip. We did get in a hike (I swear it was almost all uphill) and did lots of ATV riding. I will post pictures on Friday. Luckily, the weather was beautiful and we were able to enjoy the outside without freezing from the cold. I also did a good job on accountability with eating while we were gone. No trips planned this weekend. Although, me and DD will be doing a "Frightful" zipline experience in which we do it at night and I beleive there will be goblins and ghouls. I am thinking the dark may trick my fear of heights and make it easier to step off the ledge. Should be fun.

QOTD: I am not sure what is my happiest color. My favorites are jeweled tones to wear, especially deep reds.

B: triple zero greek yogurt with collagen added, cold brew coffee with half n half

L: oven fried tilapia with a dijon mustard tartar sauce (made with yogurt) - a new recipe I tried, turned out so good

S: PP drink

D: Taco casserole

S: 100 calorie kettle popcorn

E: 30 min yoga, 30 min walk

It's easier for me to do this in retrospect as my meals aren't set in stone for the day. I meal plan for the week and then see what I feel like each meal. Breakfast is set as yogurt and sometimes a small banana. How do I add a signature?

Favorite color: Blue but I own a lot of red items. I think I look good in red.

B: Dannon light and fit toasted coconut yogurt

L: 1/3 ham and mushroom omelette

D: 1/3 Portillos beef combo bowl

S: sugar free popsicle

Definitely do what works for you -- there are a number of people that post the prior day as their menu so you won't be alone!

To add a signature, click on the little gear on the top right, then select settings and then the message board tab (if you want to set a ticker, it's under the gear as well, just a stand alone action).
