What's on your Monday Menu?

I WISH! Unfortunately, not in my area. It's a 3ish hour drive no matter which way - north, south or east. I may just make a special trip.

G'morning all!
Had a great weekend. Went SUPing, and didn't get eaten by sharks; very positive outcome. Got out all the Halloween decorations and finished decorating the house in a matter of couple of hours. Got some yucky scary looking pumpkins (full of zits/pimples) to justify the lack of carving. And on Sunday we had dinner with Lisa. She is as cute, positive, and ray of sunshine as her online presence here. She is a rule follower and was very much against posting our pic on a Monday, of all days, but I told her I'm a rebellious kind and will post. I'm sure QJB will be lenient.
QOTD: I have the special ones for induction stovetops, with sort of magnetic stuff at the bottom. I'm not picky about my pots and pans as long as they get cleaned easily. But because of induction cooking range we have to have these and I have no complaints.
My meals yesterday
- B: coffee & kodiak protein mug cake
- L: chomp stick (went light because I knew we were going out to dinner)
- S: ----
- D: ceviche, mahi, few bites of espresso mud cake, few bites of panna cotta
- E: quick 4 miles hike
Happy start of the week!

APPROVED! So glad to see your beautiful faces together. I am super jelly.
Good morning!
Having such a nice time on this road trip. After a short layover in Bakersfield we made it to the Monterey area yesterday afternoon. Super scary last ten miles in the RV but when we arrived they offered us cookies for surviving, lol. As Sheila said, we got to meet up for dinner last night. So much fun meeting Sheila and her husband. Delightful evening, great food, better conversation and don't get between Sheila, my husband and the desserts. Today had been planned as a huge bike ride, but the weather is a little wet and we have to be on some major roads, so we are going to do a little reset and see if we can find a place to park the rig long enough tomorrow to get in the 17 mile drive before heading out to San Francisco. Today I think we shall shuttle from the campground to Monterey and wander around, see the sights and find a great lunch somewhere. Doesn't matter, any thing on vacation time is a good time.
QoTD: Ya'll already know I have a Williams Sonoma monkey on my back. So it's no surprise that I have several pieces from them. I use their roaster the most, plus a Le Crueset Dutch oven, Heston sauce pans and I have three cast iron skillets that have been in the family 40 years or more. And since my husband does all the dishes...I don't seem to worry about how they clean up. It's like a tiny miracle every time I open the pot drawer,
food today...I don't know what today will bring. But I will concentrate on fresh fish and veggies and maybe a little treat. Because, you know, it's vacation.
Peace Everyone!
