What's on your Monday Menu?
Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
Well just as I thought I am in the office today. Not a bad thing since I will be closing a new account and didn't want to leave it to anyone else to handle. Especially because I did not have any real plans and I would probably end up just over eating due to the left overs from the party yesterday. We had a great time and we had 5 pumpkin carvers who had a great time. The kids had a blast and did not want to leave. I was ecstatic that they enjoyed it so much. Aldi Pumpkins are only $2.99 so it was really cheap for a whole bunch of fun. Amy Liz I am so excited for you to finally get an Aldi. I'll keep you in the loop of when some of the seasonal items come into stock. Trish keeps me updated a well.
I have meal train tonight so I packed chicken salad and crackers for appetizer, Wedding soup and ham sliders for dinner and Apple pie and biscotti for dessert. DH will heat the soup and take it over for 5. I hope they love it .
QOTD: All Clad. They are made here in Canonsburg Pennsylvania and they have 2 warehouse sales a year. They used to give employees pieces if they worked over time and you can only have so much and I bought a lot of pieces off of employees. I have a few pieces of every kind but mostly stainless. My DB has the whole set of Copper chef from the 80's it is beautiful, but that is to much polishing to keep them nice for me.
Accountability: Oh not great to many carbs over the weekend.

Good morning ~ So happy to hear things are getting better your work/life balance, QJB! I had a fabulous time at my conference last week. It was my first for this particular Association but by far the best one I've ever attended. Wonderful people, great speakers and trainings. My County hosted, so that made it even better with so many colleagues participating. I am happy to be back at my desk this week, lots to catch up on but wanted to start here today since I've missed you all! I was so busy this weekend running errands and doing things around the house I never really relaxed... The highlight was that my son and his girlfriend came over yesterday. We made fish tacos and margaritas - it was fun.
I got my new Asics delivered and they are a no go. I loved them at the store, but these felt totally different - they are going back. I may try another pair of Asics but I am so burnt out on the running shoe thing. Yesterday, I picked up some new inserts for my Hokas which made them fit better so I am going to try them again at that gym tonight. I'm just over it ya'll. On another note - I received my regular one piece swimsuit and I love it, can't wait to wear it this weekend.
QOTD - cast iron pans mostly and a few nonstick skillets I picked up at Costco. I also have a set of Farberware stainless steel pots.
Back to the grind...
B- coffee and egg bites
l- chicken bites
d- TBD
s-cheese and salami bites
Lots of bites today that scream COSTCO
