Profferrin Iron Dosage?

It's high recommended by a number of people here. Not sure what everyone's dose is, I take two a day, away from my calcium.

Calcium interferes with iron absorption and we already mal absorb iron, hence the need for supplements. Why make it harder?

The one thing I know I can?t absorb after RNY ( and it also constipates bty ) is elemental iron
Only
if I feel fatigued for a few days do I take an iron pill ...and personally I prefer the ones with like four types of ferritin. They Immediately make me feel better .
For me ... I take maybe two iron pills every four months .... and my levels post op are perfect whereas all my life and going into surgery I was called severely anemic.
The four - type ferritin pills are widely available...and inexpensive.
And I also try to eat some beef lol .... half raw if possible ( in steak , barbecue brisket or homemade hamburger form) or chicken liver spread or Boarshead lite liver wurst (usually yech ) ... something fortifying even if it?s chicken soup .
If you?re a veggie fan spinach, kale , quinoa and fresh organic eggs kinda do the same thing but not really . Meat?s better . Listen to your body ...
