Mornin' All!

I'm leaving for my Aqua Zumba class in a few minutes. I have one of my film discussion groups over lunch (at a restaurant), and dinner with a friend - so I need to be really careful with food today. Two meals out could otherwise be disastrous. I also need to get over to the gym sometime this afternoon to do weights, since I don't want to go over the weekend (too many people there - weekdays are much better as long as you avoid early mornings and the "after work" hours...)

QOTD: nothing is coming to mind...

B: protein oatmeal topped with plain Greek yogurt and cranberry/cherry sauce, coffee with half & half

MS: Wasa crackers and some kind of protein - maybe cottage cheese?

L: at a restaurant. Either the hummus appetizer or 1/2 an Impossible burger

AS: protein shake

D: not sure. Maybe the walleye with cabbage salad - or the cucumber spring rolls (at a restaurant again)

have a great day, everyone!

Extremely late to the game, but I bought Alexa this summer and set up eight lights on her. Main reason is for a bit more safety if I get up in the middle of the night. I can lay in bed and have Alexa put lights on so I am not stumbling around in the dark. Programming her has turned out to be fun.

Good morning! Boy I am dragging this morning. But it's worth it. Went to a concert last night. So good. My legs are killing me from two hours of standing and dancing. And I'm extra squeaky this morning when I talk. Always a sign of being tired. It's my last work day before vacation -- and on Sunday evening I'm having dinner with Sheila!! I am very excited to meet her in person. Just need to get through the next 8-10 hours and then it's game time.

QoTD: I bought an immersion blender last year that came with accessories. I just started trying out the "food processor" bowl and I'm hooked. I'm looking around the kitchen going what can I whip next?

Menu:

B: hb egg, 1/3 c cottage cheese

L: left over roasted jalapeno chicken sausage and peppers

D: left over tri tip, smashed potato, and roasted carrot torte

S: I'm already really hungry today. Not enough food last night and lots of moving -- so I'm guessing it's a beef jerky, Whisps AND yogurt kind of day!

My pics are the carrot torte (because I always take pictures of my food endeavors) and my oldest granddaughter, Alivia, on the second place platform for her gymnastics meet.

Peace Everyone!
