What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Good morning! 3 more work days to go til vacation! I hope it flies by. I think I am pretty organized to pack up the RV. I've been pulling outfits together. I mean, I need wine tasting outfits, and biking outfits, and wandering around outfits, and most importantly, sitting by the fire outfits...which of course means leggings and a big comfy sweatshirt.
I have my 2nd annual surgery tele-appointment with the doc today at one. I think she's going to say everything is fine and see you in a year. I am up 3 pounds since my 1st annual appointment, so I think she'll be ok with that. My bloodwork looks about identical to my last set of labs. Fingers crossed!
QoTD: Yes...and no. I am very organized! But right now, I have a pile in the corner of the dining room of stuff to load into the RV and it's making me crazy. And my organizer on my kitchen counter with future plans and recipes needs straightened out, and the pantry is a hot mess again. But then I will go hit a streak and clear out everything and it remain that way for months. My closest is organized, but I'm definitely no Marie Kondo, though I have adapted her way of folding shirts. So many more fit in the drawer.
Menu today:
B: HB egg, 1/3 c cottage cheese
L: Leftover roasted chicken and veggies
D: Salted tri tip, roasted carrot tart with ricotta and feta, smashed potatoes (making lots to pack up and freeze for my girlfriend)
S: jerky and whisps
Peace Everyone!

G'morning all!
Fall has def arrived in CA. For the first time I wore a sweatshirt yesterday, although by mid afternoon had to take it off when it got to 72.
QOTD: you know all those organizational tools on the home edit show? I used them before the show came out. Container store is my Disney land. In other words I am the queen of organization. At one point I thought of going into the business of organizing closets and pantries. I do allow two junk drawers for DH.
My meals yesterday
- B: coffee
- L: hb eggs + tuna pouch
- S: ratio protein yogurt
- D: innards of 2 tacos
- E: 30 minutes cardio + 60 minutes weight training
Happy hump day!

Mornin' All!
nothing on the agenda today. I'm going to try to get out and bike this morning because they're calling for rain again this afternoon. I'm also planning to do some reading for my classes (I'm still a couple of weeks behind because of all the MIL issues the past six weeks), and to continue looking for a fun and not-too-expensive B&B to stay at during our two full days in Naples (already booked two - one for the day we arrive (so we can rest up and get over some of the jet lag before we head down to the Amalfi coast) - and a second that's within walking distance of the airport (for our last night there) so we don't have to stress about getting to the airport by 7:30 am (for a 9:30 flight) while dealing with rush hour traffic/subways/etc). I want this "middle", two-day B&B to be fun and within a couple of blocks of a subway station so we can get around the city easily. And of course in a safe neighborhood...
QOTD: I'm not very organized, but I almost never lose things. DH is always organizing things, but he seems to lose things (like his keys) all the time. He's always moving things around to organize them, and then he can't remember where he put them. ARRRGGGGH. It took a long time to get used to each other's organizing (or lack thereof....) habits. It's still aggravating at times - for both of us...
B: 1/4 C protein oatmeal topped with 1/2 C plain Greek yogurt and cranberry/cherry compote. Coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: chickpea/miso spread on 35 calorie bread or two Wasa crackers
AS: protein muffin
D: I'm thinking these veggie bites I got a Costco last night. Dipped in tzatziki sauce.
have a great day, everyone!
