late post for me

man so much going on so my NSV is that i haven't lost my $R#$#%$#$@@$$@E$@

So, remember my comments about our power randomly going out to 1/2 the house? well the power company came yesterday about 1. they pulled off the meter and said the entire power box outside had to be replaced due to fire hazard. they fully cut the power with no warning and said get an electrician out. so we scrambled to get an electrician out, he was like yeah this has to be replaced but it has to have a permit first. so we ice chested all the fridge food, i ate halo top ice cream last night then ended up with terrible gas all night. no power so being careful flushing toilets (on well), and dogs freaking and restless so I have had 2 nights of not good sleep. now we are trying to get propane in the tank to turn on the generator today so we can save the rest of the stuff. so we are talking A LOT of money to replace this... and i have to be working also and running our online business also = can't print labels on packages lol

positives: no more bears or coyotes have shown up which is good since we can't turn on the fence...

food today

so far:

coffee/egg cheese and bacon off a biscuit... didn't eat biscuit

rest is up in the air maybe more yogurt so less likely to spoil...

Good morning and hello Thursday! My husband and I had a wonderful time at the "live fire" restaurant last night. We ordered 4 courses, shared bites of each, and I have tons left over to take to my girlfriend today at the rehab. She's getting so much stronger. She can now stand up and walk with the assistance of a walker. That means she got a real shower the other day. First one in what, 3 months? Must have felt glorious. LOL. Not much exercise yesterday, but we did get some steps in and I was up and down the stairs all day. We check the RV out of the beach site today, so I'll get lots of exercise when I get home unloading it and bringing stuff into the house. Lots of steps to deal with. But that's about it for my big plans today.

QoTD: Today, I am wearing the same pants as I was 12 months ago. That means I've basically maintained my size for a year. I have not maintained a size for a year in my entire life. Always a fight up, or a fight down...but all over the place. I'm taking this for a win. And also, even though we have been out camping and have been returning to restaurants a bit more often, I feel like I have a good balance of "luxury food" and "fuel food". One or two bites of the luxury stuff, and I am happy to go back to my chicken and cauliflower. Loving to cook makes it all a bit easier too.

Menu:

B: hb egg, 1/3 C cottage cheese

L: bites of pork chop, flat steak, smoked broccoli

D: I think I am grabbing Char sui and lo mein on the way home

S: jerky?

Peace Everyone!
