Thank you! It's horrible, even inside you can smell and taste the smoke. It's also very dreary and depressing. I hope we get some rain soon.

Qotd: I don't send food back because I would lose my appetite, instead I won't pay for my meal.

Good morning everyone. I had a wonderful weekend. My daughter was out of town, so I got to watch her dogs. We had so much fun. They are going home today and I am going to miss them.

The weather in the PNW has been wonderful. I am really loving fall.

QOTD- Before WLS, nope. If it's really bad I have. I was out for family dinner for our wedding anniversary. My daughter and I ordered the chicken kabob salad. The restaurant was dimly lit. My daughter started to eat hers and she commented on how her chicken tasted weird. It was literally raw! I sent them both back. The server said that they had a new cook and apologized. They gave us the salads for 1/2 price. I still haven't been back to that restuarant, so gross!! We still joke about chicken sushi.

Food plan for the day-

1 piece of low carb toast, 2 scrambled egg ( This bread is 30 calories and 4 carbs. Its a game changer)

protein shake ( I am headed into PDX to get work supplies)

Grilled burger with keto bun

not sure what else

This happened to me at a going away party. I ended up with salmonella poisoning and spent a week in the hospital. I think it was a chicken chimichanga if I am not mistaken. Yes I have never been back. So sad because it was a family friends restaurant.

I buy zero carb bread at Costco. They also have buns for hamburgers and hot dogs. I have bought Aldi too but prefer Costco

QOTD - I don't send food back, but I order pretty simply. I just hate to think of my food being touched again.

Breakfast - fasting, so hot black coffee and water

Lunch - I overplanned, so just gonna list what I brought and I'll pick from it.
Crackers, cottage cheese, cream cheese, avocado, everything but the bagel seasoning, Spanish rice, banana, mandarin, smoothie with chia seeds, bread, peanut butter, strawberry preserves, fresh blueberries. I think I'm covered for lunch!

Dinner - LOL NO clue, but I've probably got plenty leftover from lunch.

not having a great day today, so I'll leave it at that. Too many things going on - a couple of them unpleasant. But I'll get out and exercise and try to do some kind things for myself. I don't like feeling this way and I need to shake it...

QOTD: I've never sent a meal back, but there have been a couple of times when I've said something to a server and I was offered something else or wasn't charged for the item in question.

B: plain Greek yogurt with fruit compote, coffee with half & half.

MS: protein shake

L: chickpea/miso sandwich

AS: skyr and a skinny bagel

D: I'm thinking Indian kidney bean curry on half a pita
