Good morning ~ I am still amazed at how horrible people can be, then I think about it and I'm not.... Best of luck to you, JB! I am feeling so good/sore today and slept like a baby again. The inserts in my shoes helped with my foot pain. Another nice sweaty work out. I love the way my gym moved everything around for covid. Instead of a jam packed cardio room all facing TVs - there are cardio machines spread out all over the facility in every nook, window and outside around the pool too. If it weren't so hot right now, I'd totally be outside. I spotted a few locations with great views I'm gonna check out today. Amazon tracker says my swimsuit will be delivered Friday so hopefully that means I am in the water Saturday. Can't wait!
QOTD - Halloween and Christmas that's it. My staff at work all decorate their desk for every holiday, it's nuts. Like the dollar store blew up in here.
MFP is acting up
b-coffee, eggwich
l - real good chicken burrito bowl
d- cheese and mushroom omelet
s - beef jerky or turkey pepperoni
Have a great day!

Hello Everyone,
I have been dealing with head hunger for a few days. Mostly, wanting more to eat at meals even though I am physically satisfied. Luckily, I am in the early phases of weightloss so I can mentally "fight" the urge to eat more. I am hoping that my habits that I am developing will stay with me for the long haul. I know that head hunger probably wont go away but that I need to be aware of the difference from actual physical hunger. Could be some relationship stress causing this. My husband and I don't fight but I am angry at him because of poor relationship boundry choices he has made... That is another story and is not related to my WLS, but a problem from before that he is unwilling to address and I haven't made any decisions on how I want to deal with it. 30 years of marriage is a long-time and is difficult to end...
Yesterday my facial was sooo relaxing, my skin is looking better.

Sorry you have some stress taking a toll. For me, I can usually differentiate head hunger vs real hunger in what I'll actually eat. Chances are, if I'll eat a boiled egg or some kind of dense protein then I'm actually hungry but if I'll only eat something more "yummy" it's most likely head hunger. Now do I always push through the head hunger, nope! I'll always be a work in progress that's for sure.
I used to decorate for every holiday and throw lots of parties. Christmas, Halloween, 4th of July, and St. Patrick's Day were the main ones. Some years, we had a live Irish band for St. Patrick's Day.
One Halloween tradition was the white gorilla. My brother would wear a white gorilla costume and come running out of the woods and chase the little kids. When they started to figure out it was really Uncle Bob, Bob's son would sneak into the woods, put the costume on and Bob would walk out. When the kids saw him and accused him of being the white gorilla, his son rushed out in the costume and then the kids started to really believe that there was a white gorilla in my woods.
